Diabetic NeuropathyThe long-term goal is to identify and establish effective mind-body interventions (as an aspect of complementary and alternative medicine) to improve health and Quality of Life (QoL) for people with disabilities. Preliminary data suggest that engagement in yoga is feasible and beneficial for multiple study populations, and it may relieve symptoms of neuropathy. The central hypothesis is that individuals who complete yoga will have significantly better balance, mobility, and QoL after 8 weeks of yoga.

Diabetic NeuropathiesThis study is designed to evaluate the topical Citrullus colocynthis fruit oil efficacy in treatment of painful peripheral diabetic neuropathy (PDN) in a randomized double blind placebo-controlled clinical trial design. This study includes 60 patients from SUMS endocrinology and diabetes clinic. Patients with painful conditions other than PDN such as radiculopathies will be excluded. After giving the Informed consent the patients will be underwent NCS (Nerve Conduction Study) for confirming the diagnosis before recruitment. They will be followed for 12 weeks and after 12 weeks the outcome measures including Neuropathic Pain Scale (NPS), WHOQOL-BREF (World Health Organisation Quality of Life Brief) questionnaire and electrodiagnostic criteria will be evaluated.

Diabetic NeuropathyPainfulThis study will investigate the efficacy of a combination treatment of duloxetine + pregabalin compared with the maximal dose of each drug in monotherapy, in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain (DPNP) who have not responded to the standard recommended dose of either drug. It will provide an answer to a common clinical question, namely, is it better to increase the dose of the current monotherapy or to combine both treatments early on, in patients who do not respond to standard doses of duloxetine or pregabalin.
