MRG-001 as an Immunoregulatory and Regenerative Therapy for COVID-19 Patients
COVID-19ARDS3 moreThis study consists of two parts. Part A (Phase I): A Phase I Double-blind Randomized Placebo-controlled Study in Healthy Subjects to Assess the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics of MRG-001 Part B (Phase 2): A Phase IIa, Adaptive, Double-Blind, Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Multi-center Study in Hospitalized Patients Infected with Severe and Critical SARS-CoV-2 to Assess the Safety, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics and Efficacy of MRG-001
Clinical Trial to Assess the Efficacy of MSC in Patients With ARDS Due to COVID-19
Acute Respiratory Distress SyndromeCOVID-19 PneumoniaA double-blind, randomized, controlled, clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of MSC (mesenchymal stromal cells) intravenous administration in patients with COVID-induced ARDS compared to a control arm.
Post-Market Study of Low-flow ECCO2R Using PrismaLung+
Mild to Moderate Acute Respiratory Distress SyndromePrismaLung+ is indicated to provide extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal (ECCO2R) as a stand-alone therapy or in combination with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). This study is intended for patients with increased levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in their blood and ≥ 18 years old, and will treat patients with mild or moderate acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) using PrismaLung+. The study will assess tidal volume reduction and confirm the safety of PrismaLung+.
Effect of Chest Physiotherapy on the Development of Preterm Infants.
DevelopmentInfant1 moreThe aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the stimulation of "reflex rolling" from the Vojta method and the effect of the expiratory flow increase technique on the development of the preterm infants. In the same way, it will be assessed whether the application of these techniques produce pain. This application will be carried out in preterm infants of less than 32 weeks of gestation with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (SDR) and carriers of mechanical ventilation. The intervention will take place in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) The intervention period is one month (4 weeks) and different follow-ups will be carried out at term age, at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of corrected age.
Effects of Blood Pulsatility on Von Willebrand Factor During ECCO2R
Extracorporeal CO2 RemovalAcute Respiratory Distress Syndrome2 moreThe primary objective of the study is to demonstrate that the ECCO2R pulsatile configuration prevents the Willebrand factor high molecular weight multimers decrease observed under continuous blood flow configurations. The secondary objectives are to quantify the CO2 extracorporeal removal in the pulsatile configuration, to describe complications (hemorrhagic, thrombotic and hemolytic), to describe patients' gas exchanges under ECCO2R, to describe the clinical course of the patients under ECCO2R as well as during the whole stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Surfactant Administration by Insure or Thin Catheter
RDS of PrematuritySurfactant Deficiency Syndrome Neonatal1 moreThis trial evaluates the efficacy and safety of surfactant administration with thin catheter technique together with analgesic premedication in comparison with the established INSURE-strategy. It will provide valuable knowledge to improve clinical methodology and enhance lung protective treatment strategies for preterm infants.
Treatment of Respiratory Complications Associated With COVID19,Influenza ,Metapneumovirus,RSV Infection...
COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Distress SyndromeInfluenza A2 moreTo investigate the safety and tolerance of a single infusion of ProTrans® in subjects with "severe" respiratory complications associated with pneumonia caused by COVID-19, Influenza A, Metapneumovirus or RSV infection.
Electroacupuncture Modulates SPMs Metabolism and Respiratory Symptoms in Patients With Sepsis Complicating...
SepsisAcute Respiratory Distress SyndromeIn this interventional clinical trial, researchers will administer electroacupuncture versus sham electroacupuncture to sepsis patients with ARDS and collect objective outcome measures. The study will be divided into 2 groups. The EA group will receive electroacupuncture and the SHAM-EA group will receive sham electroacupuncture. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of electroacupuncture on the synthesis of SPMs in sepsis patients with ARDS.
Treatment of ARDS With Instilled T3
ARDSHuman5 moreIt is hypothesized that instillation of (T3) into the airspace will increase alveolar fluid clearance in patients with ARDS, resulting in reduced extravascular lung water (EVLW).
Viscoelastic Testing Guided Tissue Plasminogen Activator Treatment in Acute Respiratory Failure...
Acute Respiratory FailureHypercoagulability1 morePatients with coronavirus disease (COVID) and non-COVID acute respiratory failure (ARF) may be at an increased risk of thrombosis due to increased clot formation and decreased clot lysis. This two stage study aims to utilise bedside coagulation technology to detect patients at increased risk and guide tPA treatment to maximise efficacy and safety through a personalised approach.
