This study is adressed to women with primary dysmenorrhea, it´s a gynecological disorder that is defined as colicky pain associated with menstruation and is located in the lower abdomen and in the lumbo-pelvic area. It appears between the first 8-72 hours and four days of the menstrual cycle and affects almost 85% of women, 30% of them severely. This study aims to demonstrate that osteopathic manual therapy is an effective therapeutic option in patients with primary dysmenorrhea. Another objective is to verify that osteopathic manual treatment provides an improvement in the intensity of pain, quality of life and a reduction in the consumption of medicines in these patients.

Adenomyosis is characterized by the appearance of endometrial cells in the muscular layer of the uterus. It affects about 15-20% of the female population. The symptoms of adenomyosis are heavy menstrual bleedings and painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea) and in addition chronic pelvic pain. Regarding treatment levonogestrel-releasing intrauterine system, Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH)-analogues, Danazol, uterine embolization and endometrial ablation have been tried. Aim :The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of oral Gabapentin in the treatment of chronic pelvic pain in females. The study is designed as a randomised, placebo-controlled, clinical trial.32 patients will be enrolled each arm. Group A (cases): This group will include (32) women according to inclusion and exclusion criteria and will receive a card of Gabapentin which will be taken orally by the patient at home three times daily and maximum dose 2700mg per day by 300 mg increments each week until sufficient pain relief, or the occurrence of side effects such as dizziness, somnolence, edema and ataxia. Group B (controls):This group will include (32) women . Assessment of the patient's pain during the physical examination will be done using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The patient will be asked to place a mark on a drawn 10 cm line at a point which is corresponding to the intensity of her pain. One end of the line denotes no pain and the other end of the line indicates that pain is as bad as it can be (the worst pain).the distance in cm from the low end of VAS to the patient's mark will be used (it gives a number.Questionnaire: will be given to all participants at randomization (0 months) , at 3 months and at 6 months to assess the degree of pain improvement via VAS. Patients' overall satisfaction with their pain treatment &Side effect recording (e.g., dizziness, somnolence, mood changes, appetite and poor concentration).

Prostatitis is an inflammation of the prostate, an pelvic organ of men. Prostatitis can cause great discomfort which varies but can include pelvic pain, pelvic pressure, a vague sense of discomfort, a feeling of malaise and fatigue, fever, burning on urination, pain on reaching orgasm, and bleeding. In many men the symptoms of prostatitis can be chronic. It is estimated that in the United States chronic prostatitis is responsible for as many as two million doctor visits a year. The disease can be ruinous, interfering with work, intimacy, and other things. The causes of chronic prostatitis are not understood. The treatments commonly used, including antibiotics and prostate massage, work poorly. We now have evidence that laparoscopic prostatectomy can eliminate the misery of chronic prostatitis. This trial aims to quantify and better characterize the effect of laparoscopic prostatectomy on the symptoms of chronic prostatitis.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of dry cupping on women with chronic pelvic pain. BACKGROUND: Recent studies have examined the efficacy of dry cupping on acupoints for various pain-related conditions. They showed good result . However, no studies up to date has been evaluated the effect of dry cupping in treating Chronic pelvic pain. Therefore, this study is the first one which aims to investigate the effect of dry cupping on women suffering from Chronic pelvic pain. This study may expand the role of physiotherapy in woman's health. HYPOTHESE: There is no effect of bioptron light therapy on postmenopausal osteoporosis. RESEARCH QUESTION: There is no effect of dry cupping on chronic pelvic pain.
