Zirconia Vs Titanium Implants in Deficient Ridges
Alveolar Bone LossPeriodontitisThe aim of this study is to evaluate clinically and radiographically soft tissue around single-implant crowns and peri-implant bone resorption respectively by using zirconia implants or titanium implants in horizontally deficient partially edentulous ridges.
Healing Potentiality Of Blood Clot ,S-PRF and A-PRF In Treatment Of Necrotic Mature Single Rooted...
Healing Potentiality After Regeneration Using Standard PRF and Advanced PRF in Mature Necrotic Single TeethEarlier, it was believed that successful regeneration cannot be achieved once tooth has become infected. However, recent studies suggest that regenerative endodontics may in fact be possible in teeth with pulpal necrosis and periapical pathology. The primary goal in regenerative procedure is to eliminate clinical symptoms and resolve apical periodontitis. The blood clot acts as a scaffold, and the growth factors inside recruit stem cells, most likely from periapical papilla. But unfortunately, the erythrocytes in the clot of the blood column undergo necrosis, affecting its properties so the blood column is augmented by the use of different types of scaffolds. Platelet-rich fibrin is classified into four types (Standard PRF, Injectable PRF, Advanced PRF and Concentrated Growth Factor CGF) according to speed and time of centrifuge with the overall aim to increase the number of platelets and leucocytes
The Effect of A Dental Application to Promote Self-Administered Plaque Control: A RCT
PeriodontitisGingivitis2 moreRandomized Controlled Trial: to investigate the feasibility of the usage of a mobile dental application in the self-administration of plaque control in a two (2) parallel arm study with 52 subjects (n = 52). The study will take place over 2 visits (within 35 days): Visit 1 and 2. Prospective Open Cohort Study: Patients referred to the Periodontology Department will be invited to participate in the study during the Oral Hygiene Phase. Routine clinical indices will be recorded at Visit 1 and Visit 2 before active non-surgical periodontal treatment commences.
Evaluation of a New Local Drug Delivery in the Nonsurgical Treatment of Periodontitis
PeriodontitisThe aim of the planned randomized clinical trial will be the clinical and microbiological evaluation of the new intracellular drug developed in cooperation with the Chair and Department of Drug Form Technology of the Medical University and the Department and Department of Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Parasitology of the Medical University in Wrocław.
Periodontal Ligament Stem Cell Implantation in the Treatment of Periodontitis
Chronic PeriodontitisCell sheet technique possess the properties of conserving the ECM, rich molecules and retaining cell vitality, and will promote the capacity of cell adhesion and proliferation. The stem cell based cell sheet therapy has been utilized in many fields and scored the satisfactory results. Periodontitis is a chronic disease which causes the destruction of the periodontal tissue and leads to the teeth loss in the end. The routine cell-based therapy to the periodontitis was confronted with many difficulties. In the investigators previous preclinical research, +the investigators fabricated periodontal ligament stem cell (PDLSC) pellets and cell sheet fragment and applied them in the periodontal defect area for tissue regeneration and periodontitis treatment. And the investigators carried out a comprehensive study of the PDLSC allograft. The host responses and implanted cell fates were recorded. After the scientific investigation of the preclinical study, the investigators designed the preliminary clinical trial of PDLSC cell sheet for the chronic periodontitis therapy in the aims to test the PDLSC fates and explore one ideal transplantation mode.
Vitamin C as an Adjunct in Periodontal Treatment in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients
Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 With HyperglycemiaPeriodontitisPeriodontitis patients with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus will receive non-surgical periodontal treatment and then be supplemented with daily 500 mg vitamin C (test group) or placebo (control group) for 2 months. Clinical parameters will be retrieved at baseline, at the end of week 4 and at the end of week 8.
Salivary Bacterial Profiles in Relation to Periodontal Treatment
PeriodontitisThe purpose of the present investigation is to record and compare bacterial compositions in subgingival plaque samples and saliva samples in subjects receiving periodontal treatment. The hypothesis is that the composition of the salivary microbiota might reflect local bacterial alterations in relation to periodontal treatment.
Outcome of Endodontic Treatment in Patient Treated With a Hydraulic Sealer
Apical PeriodontitisThe objective of the study is to evaluate and compare, clinically and radiographically, the outcome of non surgical primary/secondary root canal treatment using a hydraulic sealer or a zinc oxide-eugenol sealer.
The Influence of Porcelain Fused to Metal ( PFM) and Zirconia Crowns on Periodontal Health
PeriodontitisInvestigate the influence of the crown tye Porcelain fused to metal or Zirconia on periodontal health.
