Efficacy/Safety of Ecraprost in Lipid Emulsion for Treatment of Critical Leg Ischemia Due to Peripheral...
Peripheral Vascular DiseaseEcraprost in lipid emulsion is being developed for the treatment of Critical leg ischemia (CLI), which is the most severe form of peripheral arterial disease (PAD); This trial is designed to assess the efficacy and safety of the drug in the treatment of CLI.
FRAME, External Support for Lower Limb Autologous Grafts
Peripheral Arterial DiseasePeripheral Artery Disease30 patients will be enrolled in a prospective, multi-center, one-arm study, enrolling patients with claudication and chronic limb ischemia scheduled for lower limb venous bypass grafting on clinical grounds with single segment autologous saphenous vein. Subjects will be followed for 5 years, with follow up visits at 1, 3, 6, 12 months, 2, 3, 4, 5, years post operation.

AmputationPeripheral Artery Disease1 moreThe PERCEIVE (PrEdiction of Risk and Communication of outcomE followIng major lower limb amputation - a collaboratiVE study) study aims to explore how decisions about major lower limb amputations are made by patients and healthcare professionals.
A Post-market Registry of the MARIS-stent (Invatec) Implanted in the Superficial Femoral Artery...
Peripheral Artery DiseaseThe MARIS Register is a prospective, multicenter registry of implantation in the superficial femoral artery (SFA) with a CE marked stent (Maris / Invatec) intended to capture initial angiographic success, complication rate and symptomatic related revascularization by following the clinical process and duplex examinations at 6 and 12 month.
A Study to Collect Intravascular Ultrasound Images Before and After Treatment With the Jetstream...
Peripheral Arterial DiseasePeripheral Vascular DiseaseThe Jetstream System is a commercially available rotating, aspirating, expandable catheter designed to remove atherosclerotic plaque and blood clots in the lower limbs. The purpose of this study is to use intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) during the interventional procedure to measure the amount of plaque and blood clots removed by the Jetstream System.
Drug Eluting Stents In The Critically Ischemic Lower Leg
Peripheral Vascular DiseaseCritical Limb IschemiaThe Destiny trial compares the use of bare metal stent systems with drug eluting stent systems in the treatment of infrapopliteal lesions in patients with Critical Limb Ischemia. It will be investigated whether there is a difference in 12 month angiographic patency of the stented area using the 2 different stent systems.
Exercise for Elderly Peripheral Revascularized Patients
Peripheral Artery DiseaseIntermittent ClaudicationThe purpose of this study is (1) to determine whether a 3-month exercise rehabilitation program will improve claudication distances, free-living daily physical activity, and health-related quality of life of older, revascularized patients with peripheral arterial disease, and (2) to determine whether the primary mechanisms by which exercise rehabilitation affects the above functional outcomes are through alterations in walking efficiency, peripheral circulation, and cardiopulmonary function.
Exercise for Women With Peripheral Arterial Disease
Peripheral Artery DiseaseClaudication1 moreHypothesis #1. Supervised exercise rehabilitation will result in greater increases in exercise performance, peripheral vascular function, and health-related quality of life than compared to the attention-control group. Hypothesis #2. The change in peripheral vascular function will be predictive of improved exercise performance following the supervised exercise program.
4-EVER : a Trial Investigating the Safety of 4F Endovascular Treatment of Infra-Inguinal Arterial...
Peripheral Vascular DiseaseClaudicationThe objective of this clinical investigation is to evaluate puncture site complication rate as well as the short- and long-term (up to 24 months) outcome of treatment by means of Astron Pulsar / Astron Pulsar-18 stent implantation in symptomatic (Rutherford 2-4) femoro-popliteal arterial stenotic or occlusive lesions, using 4F compatible devices of BIOTRONIK and without the use of a closure device. The hypothesis is that the primary patency at 12 months is non-inferior to the primary patency obtained in the Durability study (72.2%).
Establish The Benefits Of Using Various Starting Doses Of Atorvastatin On Achievement Of Cholesterol...
Coronary ArteriosclerosisDiabetes Mellitus4 morePhysicians tend to always use the lowest dose of statins to initiate therapy even in subjects who require large reductions in cholesterol. The study evaluates if selecting the starting dose based on baseline and target LDL-C cholesterol would provide better results (ie proportion of subjects resching target)
