The purpose of the study is to assess early signs of response to abatacept+methotrexate in metacarpophalangeal joints in both hands using power Doppler ultrasonography in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis.

This trial will test the hypothesis that the addition of CF101, a novel anti-inflammatory agent, will improve the clinical condition of patients with rheumatoid arthritis who still have active joint inflammation despite taking methotrexate for at least 6 months.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness and safety of a self-directed physical activity program relative to a self-directed dietary program in adults with arthritis. A process evaluation will also be conducted to examine program reach, participation/dose, fidelity, and participant compatibility/satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the long-term safety profile of epoetin alfa in patients with anemia of chronic disease due to rheumatoid arthritis

This study looks at how the arthritis drug methotrexate works in low doses to treat rheumatoid arthritis. (High doses of methotrexate are used to treat some types of cancer.) Methotrexate blocks the action of the B-vitamin known as folic acid. We are studying the biochemical reactions affected by this vitamin because we think that blocking many of these reactions may be necessary for methotrexate to work in treating rheumatoid arthritis. Through these studies, we hope to gain a better understanding of how this drug and related drugs work as treatments for arthritis.

This study evaluates the effect in artery stiffness of enalapril maleate in Rheumatoid Arthritis women patients. Half of participants will receive 5 mg enalapril maleate every 12 hrs, while the other half will receive a placebo.
