Opioid-Related DisordersThis is a single-center, randomized, 7-way crossover, double-blind, active and placebo-controlled study to evaluate the subjective effects of oxycodone combined with ultra-low dose naltrexone in comparison to oxycodone alone in non-physically dependent subjects with a history of opioid abuse. Approximately 14 subjects will be randomized to one of fourteen sequences selected from a balanced 7x7 Latin square design and its mirror image.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of drug and risk reduction counseling combined with either substitution drug treatment with buprenorphine/naloxone (BUP/NX) or short-term detoxification with BUP/NX in preventing HIV transmission among injection drug users. Participants will be recruited for this study in China and Thailand.

Safety and Efficacy of Probuphine in the Treatment of Opioid Dependence
Opioid DependenceBuprenorphine (BPN) is an approved treatment for opioid dependence, however, in taking oral tablets, patients experience withdrawal and cravings when the variable BPN levels in the blood are low. Probuphine is an implant placed just beneath the skin that contains BPN. It is designed to provide 6 months of stable BPN blood levels. This study will test the safety and efficacy of Probuphine in the treatment of patients with opioid dependence.
