Taking into account the process of functional and cognitive evolution that patients with Parkinson's disease experience throughout the pathology, the objective of this study is to evaluate the acute effects of aerobic exercise in forced cycling performed with lower limbs and freecycling of upper limbs combined with cognitive stimuli on attention, exploration skills, and short-term motor skills in people with Parkinson's disease.

Immersive Virtual Reality for the Non-pharmacological Management of Parkinson's Disease

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the feasibility, safety and efficacy of an immersive virtual reality (IVR) exergaming using a head-mounted display in Parkinson's disease symptomatic control. This is a parallel-group, single-blinded, randomized controlled trial. The intervention group perform 12 weeks of physiotherapy and IVR, whereas the control group have 6 weeks of physiotherapy only, followed by 6 weeks of physiotherapy and IVR. The primary outcome is the symptomatic effect of the intervention as measured by the change from baseline in Time Up and Go (TUG) test with cognitive dual-task (TUG cognitive).

The goal of this clinical trial is to compare home based rehalitation program with real time biofeeback versus conventional physiotherapy on the gait velocity in Parkinson disease. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: • How do the interventions afftect the gait velocity of the participants at week 12 ? Participants will be randomized to either follow prescribtional physiotherapy or FeetMe rehabilitation programs during the first 12 weeks. At the end of 12 weeks, participants will choose in which arm they want to pursue for 12 aditionnal weeks.

Correcting of the lack of regularity in steps is a key component of gait rehabilitation in Parkinson's disease. The proposal is to introduce adaptive spatial auditory cueing (ASAC) based on verbal instruction "lengthen the step" automatically delivered when the stride length decreased below a predetermined threshold. The present study compared the effect of usual rhythmic auditory cueing versus ASAC used during a walking training in Parkinson's disease.

Freezing of gait, (FOG) is an unpredictable, abrupt, short phenomenon that severely affects Parkinson's disease (PD) patients' gait and quality of life. The common measure tools are self-questioners that present the subjective feelings and the FOG provoking tests that used in clinic for evoking FOG and getting the estimated duration and the phenotype of the expressed phenomenon. The objective of this study is to investigate the FOG phenomenon using video cameras at patients' home with combination of wearable-axivity sensors and smart soles with a goal of objective assessment and quantification of freezing of gait severity in unsupervised daily-living environment of the PD patients.

As a surgical intervention, DBS can effectively relieve PD tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia and other symptoms. How to better screen patients suitable for DBS treatment and conduct reasonable preoperative and postoperative evaluation is crucial to judge the treatment effect and prognosis. The clinical symptom evaluation of PD patients can be divided into motor symptom evaluation and non-motor symptom evaluation. The motor symptoms of PD patients were evaluated by UPDRS III. The evaluation of non-motor symptoms in PD patients was mainly divided into three aspects: cognitive status, emotional status, and sleep status. Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) were used to assess the cognitive status of PD patients. The Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) was used to assess the patients' depression status. The Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) was used to assess the patients' anxiety status. The PD Sleep Scale 2nd version, The PD Sleep Scale 2nd version, PDSS - 2), and rem Sleep Behavior Disorder Questionnaire (sweet HK) (Rapid Eye Movement Sleep behaviors Disorder Questionnaire - Hong Kong, RBDQ - HK) to assess Sleep conditions.
