The main objective of this study is to evaluate the change of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) after 6-week treatment of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) with or without immunomodulatory drugs and recognize the effect of post-treatment NLR and overall survival in advanced lung cancer patients by retrospective review.

Serious side effects occurs with disease and treatments in survival after lung cancer. For this reason, functional capacity, cognitive status, pain perception and respiratory functions may be affected in lung cancer. The purpose of this study was to evaluate respiratory function, respiratory muscle strength and endurance, functional capacity, pain, cognitive status level, and physical activity in lung cancer patients and compare with the findings of healthy subjects

The neoadjuvant Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor (ICI) or ICI combination with chemotherapy for Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) had induced higher major pathologic response (MPR) and complete pathological response (PCR). However, the RECIST underestimated the therapeutic response of neoadjuvant ICI therapy. In this study, dynamic PET/CT compared with RECEST 1.1 for the prediction of therapeutic response of NSCLC treated with neoadjuvant ICI combination with chemotherapy.

Based on the previous work of LDCT screening, in order to improve the screening rate of central lung cancer for LDCT negative and severe smokers, the investigators plan to conduct China's first large-scale fluorescent bronchoscopy screening test.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, people's lives have changed dramatically. People with lung cancer who are shielding may have been particularly affected as they may be unable to carry out many of their normal daily activities, such as grocery shopping and exercise, and are unable to interact with friends and family. People with lung cancer will also have experienced some changes to the clinical services available to them at The Christie. Using a questionnaire and interviews, the investigators want to understand patient experiences of the changes in their daily lives and the changes to their clinical care. This will help us to see if people with lung cancer need any additional support services or if there are any changes the investigators can make to clinical services to improve patient experiences. Eligible patients will be any lung cancer patients receiving current treatment or in active follow up.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the paclitaxel-bevacizumab combination retrospectively and multicenter in current practice, with subgroup analyses of the following patients: patients who have previously received immunotherapy, patients with an EGFR or ALK oncogenic addiction pathway, patients who have previously received taxanes or anti-angiogenic agents.

Anatomical resection with systematic lymph-node dissection is currently the standard of care for the treatment of early stage non-small cell lung cancer. The use of minimally invasive approaches has increased greatly over the last two decades [either video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) or robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS)], as they provide the patient with better outcomes than open thoracotomy. Minimally invasive VATS lobectomy for a standard case is generally a straightforward procedure for a well-trained surgical team, although concomitant preoperative pathologies or intraoperative findings/adverse events may result in technical difficulties, leading to intraoperative conversion, commonly by thoracotomy. The investigators aimed to assess long-term outcomes in a consecutive cohort of patients treated by anatomical pulmonary resection either using VATS, VATS requiring intraoperative conversion to thoracotomy, or upfront open thoracotomy for lung-cancer surgery.
