Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy in Adult Subjects With ITP
Immune Thrombocytopenic PurpuraThe purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of BMS-986004 when administered in subjects with ITP.
Eltrombopag in Second Line Adult Primary Immune Thrombosytopenia
Primacy Immune ThrombocytopeniaA clinical study to evaluate the efficacy of a drug called eltrombopag in adult patients affected of primary immune thrombocytopenia as first treatment to address the disease.
Immunomodulation With Romiplostim in Young Adults With ITP
Immune ThrombocytopeniaThe study aims to investigate immunomodulatory effects of thrombopoietin-receptor Agonist (TPO-RA) in patients with primary ITP, who failed first-line therapy or who became intolerant to it. It is hypothesized that the early phase of this autoimmune disease may exhibit a stronger immunomodulatory potential in response to a stimulus, such as romiplostim. Such a process may subsequently be capable to induce regulatory mechanisms or tolerance. Romiplostim (a thrombopoietin-receptor agonist, TPO-RA) will be administered subcutaneously once weekly over 22 weeks with a starting dose of 1mcg/kg body weight. The dose will be adjusted based on platelet counts as described in the summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC).
An Investigation of rhTPO With Different Frequencies in the Management of ITP
Immune ThrombocytopeniaThe project was undertaking by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and other well-known hospitals in China. In order to study the efficacy and safety of different dose and frequency Recombinant Human thrombopoietin in treating the primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP)
Study of a New Medication for Childhood Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP), a Blood Disorder...
Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic PurpuraThe purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy, safety and tolerability of eltrombopag in children with previously treated chronic immune thrombocytopenia who are between 1 and 17 years of age. This is a 2 part study. In part 1, patients will be randomized to receive either eltrombopag or placebo for 13 weeks. All patients who complete part 1 will enter part 2. In part 2, all patients will receive 24 weeks of eltrombopag.
rhTPO Combining Rituximab Versus Low-dose Rituximab in Management of ITP
PurpuraIdiopathic Thrombocytopenic PurpuraThe project was undertaking by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and other 13 well-known hospitals in China. In order to report the efficacy and safety of Recombinant Human thrombopoietin combining with Rituximab for the treatment of adults with refractory immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), compared to conventional Rituximab therapy.
EXTEND (Eltrombopag Extended Dosing Study)
PurpuraThrombocytopaenic1 moreAn open-label, dose-adjustment, extension study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of eltrombopag for the treatment of subjects with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) who have previously been enrolled in an eltrombopag trial. This study will allow adjustment of the eltrombopag dose to achieve an individualized dose and schedule for each subject. In addition, the ability to reduce the dose of concomitant ITP medications in the presence of eltrombopag, while maintaining platelet counts = 50,000/μL will be investigated.
Study Of Eltrombopag in Healthy Subjects and Volunteers With Mild, Moderate or Severe Hepatic Impairment...
PurpuraThrombocytopaenic1 moreThe main purpose of this study is to compare how one 50mg tablet of SB-497115 is broken down in the body by healthy subjects versus subjects with mild, moderate or severe liver problems. The study is also being done to 1) check on how well the study drug is tolerated by healthy subjects versus those with liver problems and 2) to check if liver impairment affects how the study drug binds to protein in the blood.
Evaluating the Safety and Efficacy of Romiplostim (AMG 531) in Thrombocytopenic Subjects With Immune...
Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic PurpuraThe primary objective of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of romiplostim in thrombocytopenic patients with ITP.
Treatment of Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) With Subcutaneously Administered Anti-D
Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic PurpuraThe purpose of this study is to describe the effect of anti-D on symptoms and platelet count in children suffering from unexplainable low platelet counts, when anti-D is administered as an injection under the skin. The hypothesis is that the injection with anti-D under the skin is as effective as anti-D given in a vein.
