Interobserver Variability Desmoplasia
Cutaneous Squamous Cell CarcinomaPathology2 moreAccording to the most recent guideline of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), desmoplasia is considered to be a very high risk factor for recurrence, metastasis and death in cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC). The presence of desmoplasia is assessed by dermatopathologists during histological examination of cSCCs. However, the inter-observer agreement is between dermatopathologists in the assessment of desmoplasia is unclear. Studies on inter-observer variability in the assessment of differentiation grade in cSCCs showed that there is only a weak to moderate agreement among dermatopathologists in the assessment of differentiation grade (2-4). This study aims to investigate the interobserver agreement of desmoplasia between dermatopathologists. In this prospective study, 50 cSCCs will be assessed for desmoplasia by at least eight dermatopathologists using a predefined definition.

Palliative 4pi Radiotherapy in Treating Patients With Recurrent Glioblastoma Multiforme
GlioblastomaRecurrent Brain NeoplasmThis pilot clinical trial studies the feasibility of palliative 4pi radiotherapy in treating patients with glioblastoma multiforme that has come back after standard chemoradiation. A new radiotherapy delivery planning system, called 4pi radiotherapy, may help improve radiation delivery by improving dose coverage to the treatment target, while reducing the dose to surrounding normal tissues.

Homologous Recombination Repair Status as a Biomarker of Response in Locally Recurrent/Metastatic...
Locally Recurrent/Metastatic Triple Negative Breast CancerThe study is being done to find out if the results of a pre-treatment biopsy can predict response to cisplatin and radiation treatment for patients with metastatic or recurrent triple negative breast cancer.

Determinants of Bladder Cancer Recurrence Study (The DETER Study)
Bladder CancerThe purpose of this study is to learn how different lifestyle factors, such as cigarette smoking and body weight, change after a diagnosis of bladder cancer, and how they influence who gets a bladder cancer recurrence and who does not.

A Study to Evaluate Two Different Surgical Methods for Treatment for Abdominal Wall Diastasis
Abdominal Hernias and Other Abdominal Wall ConditionsPost-operative Pain1 moreThis is a three armed prospective randomized trial that will compare two different surgical techniques for reconstruction of the abdominal wall diastasis with a conservative treatment procedure. The study hypothesis: Which surgical approach provides the safest and best long term results for patients with abdominal wall diastasis either the insertion of net alternative with a double row suture or exercise alone?

Measuring Cell Free DNA During the Course of Treatment for Esophageal Cancer as a Marker of Response...
Esophageal NeoplasmEsophageal Neoplasms Malignancy Unspecified7 moreTo prospectively collect blood and tumor tissue from esophageal cancer patients to identify specific esophageal cancer mutations that can be measured in the blood (cell free DNA) during the course of treatment as a marker of response and recurrence.

Randomized Trial of Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation
Breast NeoplasmsNeoplasm Recurrence1 moreThis study is to compare radiation toxicity of accelerated partial breast irradiation (ABPI) with whole breast irradiation (WBI) in low-risk breast cancer.
