A Study of CDP870 as Add-on Meditation to Methotrexate (MTX) in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThe objective of this trial is to compare the efficacy of Certolizumab (CZP) (CDP870) in combination with Methotrexate (MTX) to MTX alone in the treatment of signs and symptoms in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who are incomplete responders to MTX.

Spacing of TNF-blocker Injections in Rheumatoid Arthritis Study
Rheumatoid ArthritisRemission is nowadays the recommended therapeutic objective in rheumatoid arthritis. Once this objective is achieved thanks to TNF-blockers, the optimal therapeutic strategy remains unclear, either therapeutic maintenance or progressive DMARD tapering (with a non quantified risk of disease flare). STRASS is a 2-arm randomized controlled trial aiming to compare these 2 strategies (DMARD maintenance or progressive spacing of TNF-blocker injections) in terms of remission maintenance, relapse risk, safety issues and economic consequences during 18 months. The inclusion period is 18 months, between September 2008 and February 2010.

A Phase 3 Study Comparing 2 Doses of CP-690,550 vs. Placebo for Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis...
ArthritisRheumatoidThis Phase 3 study is intended to provide evidence of the efficacy and safety of CP 690,550 when dosed 5 mg and 10 mg twice a day as monotherapy in adult patients with moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is intended to confirm the benefits of CP-690,550 in improving signs and symptoms and physical function that were observed in the Phase 2 Rheumatoid Arthritis studies.

A Phase 3 Study Comparing 2 Doses Of CP-690,550 And The Active Comparator, Humira (Adalimumab) Vs....
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis is a comparative study of CP 690,550, Humira (adalimumab) and placebo on background methotrexate in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The study is intended to provide evidence of the efficacy and safety of CP 690,550 when dosed 5 mg and 10 mg twice a day on background methotrexate in adult patients with moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is intended to confirm the benefits of CP-690,550 in improving signs and symptoms and physical function that were observed in Rheumatoid Arthritis. An active comparator, adalimumab, is also included.

A Study of Tocilizumab in Combination With DMARD Therapy in Patients With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis....
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis 2 arm study will compare the safety and efficacy, with regard to reduction of signs and symptoms, of tocilizumab versus placebo, both in combination with DMARDs, in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis who currently have an inadequate response to DMARD therapy. Patients will be randomized 2:1 to receive tocilizumab 8mg/kg iv or placebo iv every 4 weeks, in conjunction with stable DMARD therapy. The anticipated time on study treatment is 3-12 months, and the target sample size is 100-500 individuals.

A Study to Assess Efficacy With Respect to Clinical Improvement in Disease Activity and Safety of...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis single arm study will assess the effectiveness of tocilizumab in combination with traditional DMARDs with regard to the clinical improvement in disease activity (achievement of LDAS) after 24 weeks' treatment in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have had an inadequate response to current traditional DMARD and/or anti-TNF therapy. Patients will receive tocilizumab 8mg/kg iv every 4 weeks, in addition to ongoing DMARDs at the stable pre-entry dose prescribed by the physician, for a total of 6 infusions during the regular treatment period and a further 6 infusions during an optional extension phase. The anticipated time on study treatment is 6 to 12 months, and the target sample size is <500 individuals.

Efficacy and Safety of TAK-783 in Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis
ArthritisRheumatoidThe purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy and safety of TAK-783, once daily (QD), taken in combination with methotrexate in subjects with rheumatoid arthritis.

ArthritisRheumatoidThis Phase 3 study is intended to provide evidence that CP-690,550 dosed 5 mg BID and 10 mg BID is safe and effective when used in combination with a variety of traditional disease modifying antirheumatic drugs in adult patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It is intended to confirm the benefits of CP-690,550 in improving signs and symptoms and physical function that were observed in the Phase 2 rheumatoid arthritis studies.

A Single Dose Study of the CAM-3001 in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisInvestigate safety and tolerability of the escalating dose of CAM-3001 in patients.

BTT-1023 in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisPatients with adult-onset rheumatoid arthritis will be enrolled. They will be dosed with repeated intravenous doses of BTT-1023 or placebo. During the trial, the safety of the treatments and the pharmacokinetics of BTT-1023 will be assessed. The patient allocation to treatment groups will occur at random, and the actual treatment will not be revealed to the investigator or to the patient during the trial.
