Post Market Clinical Follow-Up Study - Medical Device KalobaNaso
Common ColdNasal Mucosal Inflammation1 moreThe goal of this observational PMCF study is to confirm the efficacy and safety of the medical device KalobaNaso (a nasal spray) in children, adolescents and adults with common cold symptoms, such as runny nose, nasal congestion and rhinitis. The main questions it aims to answer are: Is the product effective in the treatment of common cold symptoms? Is the product safe? After buying the product, participants will be asked to fill in a questionnaire, in order to: Assess the cold symptoms before the use of the nasal spray. Assess the resolution of cold symptoms after the use of the nasal spray. Describe the adverse effect(s)/problem(s) observed while using the product (if any).
Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of "Allergovac Poliplus" in Polysensitized Patients With...
RhinitisAllergic1 moreThis is an observational prospective multicenter clinical study, to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the treatment with Allergovac Poliplus subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) with a mixture of 2 allergenic extracts (pollens or mites), in polymerized-depot formulation, administered in its different available allergenic extracts mixtures (2 pollens or 2 mites), and in one of the 2 recommended administration schedules (1 Day or Rapid).
"Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Inflammatory Rhinitis in Patients on Biotherapies"...
Inflammatory RhinitisInflammatory rhinitis is a side effect observed in patients treated with biotherapies in the context of chronic bowel disease (IBD) or spondylartrhopathy (SPA). This damage is still poorly described in the literature. I The objective of this study is to study the associated characteristics of crustal rhinitis in a cohort of patients treated with biotherapy for chronic inflammatory disease (IBD, SPA, psoriasis).

Allergic RhinitisAllergy to Pollen1 moreThe aim of this study is to assess the nasal and conjunctival response in subjects allergic to birch pollen during controlled exposures in the ALYATEC environmental exposure chamber (EEC)
Impact of a Novel Immune Modulating Dietary Supplement on House Dust Mite Induced Allergic Rhinoconjunctivitis...
Dust Mite AllergyAllergic RhinitisA validated mobile Allergen exposure chamber (AEC) is used to expose qualified study participants suffering from house dust mite (HDM) induced allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. A maximum of four individuals are exposed at a time under standardized conditions with a mixture of allergens from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and Dermatophagoides farinae (each 50%, faeces and body allergens; doses of 250 μg/m3 air; 21°C, and 55% relative air moisture). After the first exposure, a dietary supplement lozenge, containing beta-lactoglobulin (BLG), iron, retinoic acid, zinc and polyphenols, is taken twice daily for a period of 12 weeks, followed by the second exposure. A minimum of thirty persons are challenged with HDM allergen. After entering the chamber there is an acclimatization phase of 20 minutes with no exposure. Exposure time starts after acclimatization in the chamber and is 120 minutes at each visit. Objective parameters are recorded every 30 minutes, and subjective parameters are recorded every 10 minutes over a period of 120 minutes. During the exposure a plateau (steady-state) of total nasal symptom score with a difference from baseline is measured in all participants for each of the two exposures with HDM.
Food-specific IgG4-guided Elimination Diets Improve Allergy Symptoms in Children
RhinitisAllergic6 moreAllergic diseases in children are major public health concerns due to their widespread and rising prevalence. The most classic pathway to trigger allergy is type I allergy mediated by immunoglobulin E(IgE), but the role of immunoglobulin G4(IgG4) in allergic diseases is still worth exploring.we have collected the data of allergic patients aged 0-14 years for retrospective cross-sectional analysis to evaluate the positive rates of total IgE, HDM IgE, FS-IgE and FS-IgG4. Meanwhile, investigators screened out patients who were treated with FS-IgG4-guided elimination diets with/without probiotics for more than 3 months to clarify the role of FS-IgG4 in childhood allergic diseases by assessing the improvement of clinical symptoms before and after treatment.
Sleep Disturbance in Chronic Rhinitis
Sleep DisturbanceThe aim of this study is to evaluate the characteristic of sleep disturbance in allergic and non-allergic rhinitis in Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta. A cross sectional analytic descriptive study with consecutive sampling was performed. A total of 22 chronic rhinitis patients, consisted of 11 allergic and 11 non-allergic rhinitis were evaluated of their sleep disturbance's characteristics.
Non-interventional Study to Assess the Tolerability, the Safety Profile and the Adherence of Different...
Seasonal Allergic RhinitisThis prospective open multi-centre non-interventional study initiated to document the up-dosing period of children and adults with allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and/or allergic asthma treated with a SLIT containing purified, aqueous extracts of birch, alder, and hazel pollen. The following up-dosing schemes are freely selectable: scheme A consists of an up-dosing period of 12 days at the patient´s home using the standardized pollen extract in three different solution strengths to reach the maximum dose; scheme B is performed only with the highest solution strength at the physician's office within 2 hours; and the new scheme C which is a regimen for initiation at the physician's office and continuation at the patient's home also exclusively using the highest solution strength and takes 4 days. Data are documented by physicians and in patients´ diaries.
Development and Validity of the DyNaChron Questionnaire for Chronic Nasal Dysfunction
RhinitisNasal PolypsNasal symptoms are the main elements that lead to a therapeutic decision and allow for evaluating treatment effects or natural evolution. Despite availability of several questionnaires with good measurement qualities, no systematic assessment takes into account the specific physical and psychosocial consequences of each of the six main nasal symptoms, independently of the disease. The study proposed to measure these symptoms with the use of a selfreport questionnaire and to test the validity of the questionnaire in a large representative sample of patients attending outpatient rhinologic clinics.
