The Effects of Two Endometrium Preparation Protocols in Frozen-thawed Embryo Transfer in Women With...
InfertilityThere are two main cycle regimens used for endometrial preparation for frozen embryo transfer (FET) in women with irregular cycles: hormone replacement therapy cycles (HRT) in which the endometrium is artificially prepared by estrogen and progesterone hormones with/without a gonadotrophin releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) down regulation, and ovulation induced cycles (OI) in which follicular development is supported with increasing doses of gonadotrophin hormones and ovulation is induced. At present, there is still no sufficient evidence that which kind of frozen embryo transfer cycle regimen to plan more advantage. The purpose of this study was to compare the pregnancy outcome of hormone replacement therapy cycles (HRT) and ovulation induced cycles (OI) in women with irregular cycles.
Endometrial Scratching by Pipelle on Pregnancy Rate in Unexplained Infertility
Unexplained InfertilityResearch question: Population: women with unexplained infertility. Intervention: endometrial scratching by pipelle for women with unexplained infertility. Comparison: to compare with non endometrial scratching for women with unexplained infertility. Outcome: the biochemical pregnancy rate. Research hypothesis: Null hypothesis: there is no difference in the rate of pregnancy between scratching and non endometrial scratching in women with unexplained infertility. Alternative hypothesis: there is difference in the rate of pregnancy between scratching and non endometrial scratching in women with unexplained infertility.
Eeva™ Pregnancy Pilot Study (PPS)
InfertilityThe purpose of this clinical investigation is to gather pilot data to evaluate the impact of using Eeva™, a time-lapse enabled embryo test, in combination with traditional morphology on clinical pregnancy rates.
Use of Granulocyte Colony-stimulating Factor for the Treatment of Recurrent Implantation Failure...
InfertilityThe investigators use granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (GCSF) for the treatment of recurrent implantation failure in IVF patient with cause unknown or due to thin endometrium. Several studies showed that GCSF improves embryo development and implantation and increase pregnancy rate.
Comparison Between Natural and Artificial Cycle in Recipient Oocyte Patients
InfertilityThe purpose of this study is to compare the natural cycle (without any medication) with the well-established artificial cycle in an egg donation program.
Comparison Between Two Fertility Protocols in Obese Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Patients
ObeseInfertility1 moreThe purpose of this study is to compare two fertility protocols in obese women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome who are candidates for In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). These protocols carry less risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome which these women may experience.
Early Preparation With Gonadotropin- Releasing Hormon (GnRh) Agonists Injection With Frozen-Thawed...
InfertilityFemaleThe study intended to include >200 infertile women with impaired ovulation who will be subjected to HRT at D-21 of previous menstrual cycle (Group A) or D-1 of menses of replacement cycle (Group B). All patients received the same luteal support in the form of intravaginal progesterone two day before embryos transfer until blood pregnancy test was performed 14 days later. Clinical pregnancy was diagnosed by measurement of β-human chorionic gonadotropin level and was confirmed 2-weeks later by TVU.
Laser-assisted ICSI Versus Conventional ICSI
InfertilityDegeneration rate after ICSI is expectable but decreasing it is a goal. Laser-assisted ICSI can serve to decrease this degeneration rate.
Effect of Endometrial Injury Before Frozen Embryo Transfer on Pregnancy Rate
InfertilityResearch Question: In women undergoing frozen embryo transfer, does routine endometrial injury before frozen embryo transfer increase clinical pregnancy rate? Research Hypothesis: (Null Hypothesis) In women undergoing frozen embryo transfer Routine endometrial injury before frozen embryo transfer does not increase clinical pregnancy rate. (Alternative Hypothesis) In women undergoing frozen embryo transfer, endometrial injury before the transfer may increase pregnancy rate.
A Comparative Study of Sibling Oocytes: ICSI vs. the PICSI Sperm Selection Method
InfertilityThe aim of this research is to compare sibling oocytes using two sperm selection methods for choosing the best quality spermatozoa before they are injected into oocytes and the influence of each of these methods on embryo quality and IVF outcome.
