Depressed patients will have hearing tests and then be treated with up to three treatments (i.e., Fluoxetine, Imipramine) until remitted, to see whether test results predict specific outcomes.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether addition of memantine to bipolar depression patients who have had an incomplete response to lamotrigine (Lamictal) which is frequently used to treat bipolar depression in the clinical setting. At present, memantine is approved for use in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease or dementia, but not for use for the treatment of bipolar depression. Subjects will be asked to participate because they are suffering from bipolar depression associated and have had an inadequate response to lamotrigine. Subjects will have to be on at least 100 mg per day, for at least 4 weeks.

The purpose of this study is to see if transcranial direct current stimulation may improve the symptoms of depression.

The purpose of this study is to explore benefits of duloxetine in enhancing psychological resilience and to understand the relevance of inhibiting of both serotonin (5HT) and norepinephrine (NE)to therapeutic responses.

This study involves a form of group therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT for depressed patients with Epilepsy. The CBT groups will be tailored for an epilepsy clinic population. There are 12 sessions of therapy in the study held once a week for 12 weeks.

In this study, the investigators test whether a 4-week 12-session attention bias modification treatment (ABMT) could reduce depressive symptoms relative to placebo controls in young adults with major depressive disorder at post-training and 3-month follow-ups. Meanwhile, the investigators also test whether a 2-week 4-session ABMT booster training for every three months could reduce residual depressive symptoms and recurrences relative to placebo controls for 1-year follow-up

This pilot study will evaluate, through quantitative and qualitative methods, whether different treatments for postpartum depression are feasible and acceptable in postpartum HIV infected women on antiretrovirals (ART). The study will take place at several clinics in Lusaka, Zambia.

This study evaluates an accelerated schedule of theta-burst stimulation using a transcranial magnetic stimulation device for treatment-resistant depression. In this open label study, all participants will receive accelerated theta-burst stimulation.

The investigators are doing this research study to find out if the Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) therapy will help subjects with their major depression treatment.
