Children vary in the age at which they achieve night-time dryness; in almost all cases children will stop bed-wetting without any need for treatment. Use of absorbent pants for the management of nocturnal enuresis is controversial regarding the impact on the speed at which children become dry throughout the night. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of using DryNites absorbent pants in children with monosymptomatic nocturnal enuresis on the speed they become dry throughout the night compared with removing absorbent pants.

Currently, in clinical practice there has been no standardization in the number of injections a single dose of intradetrusor onabotulinumtoxin A is administered in. Given the increasing use of this treatment modality, the aim of this study is to compare outcomes for patients given a 100 unit dose of onabotulinumtoxin A split into 5 as compared to 20 injections for the treatment of overactive bladder or urgency urinary incontinence refractory to medical treatment.

The artificial sphincter is currently considered the gold standard device in this field. The aim of this randomised prospective international study is to assess the efficacy and safety of the Ustrap® device comparatively with an artificial sphincter (AMS800) in the treatment of stress urinary incontinence following prostate removal in cancer patients.

Post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence (IUPP) is a difficult to treat complication that causes a profound negative impact on the individual's quality of life, as well as seriously disrupts the physician-patient relationship and is a substantial public health problem . Urinary incontinence (UI) can occur both in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and in the treatment of prostate cancer. In the treatment of benign disease, this complication is associated with a very low prevalence, initially of 9% and about 1% in 12 months postoperatively. In radical prostatectomy, the prevalence is higher, varying from 2% to 87%, depending on the populations and sites studied, the definitions used, the different methodologies employed in the evaluation of incontinence, and also the different degrees of intensity of the disease . Several authors have evaluated the incidence of incontinence after robotic radical prostatectomy, open and laparoscopically. With these techniques, the reported total UI incidence varies from 4% to 40% . With the high prevalence of IUPP, accelerating the recovery of urinary control is an important priority for patients and their caregivers, and the search for effective and low-risk treatments is a constant. Thus, the possibility of treatment with the radiofrequency (RF) feature arises.

Electroacupuncture and Solifenacin for Urgency-predominant Mixed Urinary Incontinence

The study is to determine the effect of electroacupuncture in female patients with urgency-predominant mixed urinary incontinence. A three-arm non-inferior randomized controlled trial (RCT) using electroacupuncture, sham electroacupuncture and solifenacin with a total sample of 282 is proposed. The hypothesis is that the improvement (difference in number of urgency urinary incontinence episodes between baseline and 12-week evaluation) in the electroacupuncture group would be 50% or less of the difference in the improvement between the Solifenacin and the sham electroacupuncture groups.
