Uterine CancerThe goal of this clinical research study is to learn if imaging (called a hysteroscopy) can be used to help guide tumor removal during a hysterectomy.
Observational Study on the Performance of SYMMCORA® vs. V-Loc® Suture Material in Patients Undergoing...
Abnormal Uterine BleedingEndometriosis6 moreThe aim of this study is to show the superiority of the new unidirectional barbed suture (SYMMCORA® mid-term, unidirectional) to conventional suture material in terms of time to perform the vaginal cuff closure during gynecologic surgeries without an increase in the complication rate. Secondly, the superiority of SYMMCORA®, mid-term unidirectional compared to the V-Loc®, unidirectional will be assessed regarding the mean time to close the vaginal cuff. The study will be performed in routine clinical setting, the only difference will be the randomization into two different suture groups. Both suture materials which will be applied to approximate the vaginal cuff are approved and carrying the CE-marks. Additionally, both sutures will be applied in their intended use. Neither additional invasive measures nor additional burden in regard to the patient will be performed.

A Randomized Controlled Trial of an Online Support Group for Sexual Distress Due to Gynecologic...
Sexual DysfunctionsPsychological5 moreThere is a high prevalence of sexual and body image problems among women treated for gynecologic cancer, which can lead to considerable distress. Given the sensitive and highly personal nature of these problems, women are often reluctant to speak to their doctors about these concerns and have few resources for support and information. The research team will conduct a prospective randomized controlled trail (RCT) to test the benefits of "GyneGals," a 12-week online (i.e. Internet-based) support group intervention for women who are sexually distressed due to gynecologic cancer and its treatment. The primary aim of this study is to determine whether a professionally-facilitated, information-rich, online support group is beneficial for women who are sexually distressed due to gynecologic cancer and the side effects of treatment.

Uterus MyomaUterine CancerThe present study is to evaluate the effect of anesthetic agents ( propofol , sevoflurane) on intracranial pressure of female patients undergoing laparoscopic-robotic surgery.
Evaluation of Oncoxin-Viusid® in Cervical Cancer and Endometrial Adenocarcinoma.
Cervical Carcinoma Stage IICervical Carcinoma Stage III4 moreThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of oral solution Oncoxin-Viusid in the reduction of acute toxicity of Radiotherapy (RTP) and Chemotherapy (QTP) in patients with histological diagnosis of cervical cancer and endometrial adenocarcinoma. This is a phase II, prospective, randomized and double blind clinical trial, which will include 66 patients assigned to 2 treatment arms: 33 patients will receive conventional treatment, plus a placebo of the nutritional supplement and another 33 patients will receive along with the conventional treatment the Oncoxin-Viusid nutritional supplement produced by the Catalysis Laboratories of Spain. Patients will receive oral treatment throughout the onco-specific treatment and up to 3 weeks after completion.

Cancer and Mindfulness-Based Cancer Recovery After Chemotherapy
Breast CancerColorectal Cancer2 moreUpon the completion of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation for curative intent cancers, many cancer survivors suffer from a myriad of symptoms ranging from physical symptoms such as hot flashes, insomnia, and fatigue to psychosocial symptoms including depression and anxiety. Mindfulness Based Cancer Recovery (MBCR) is a type of mind-body intervention.
