Metastatic or Locally Advanced Unresectable Solid TumorsThis is an open-label, multicenter, clinical study conducted in multiple parts to establish the safety, tolerability, Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) profile, maximum tolerated dose (MTD) combinations (if observed) and recommended dose for expansion (RDE) combination for M1774 in combination with M4076 (in Part A1) and in combination with avelumab (in Part B1) in participants with metastatic or locally advanced unresectable solid tumors who are intolerant or have no standard therapy available.

Patients may complain of severe pain due to surgical trauma and prosthesis. Regional anesthesia methods may be performed to reduce opioid consumption and opioid-related side effects. The hip joint consists of the femoral head and the acetabulum. Sensory innervation of the hip joint is provided by the femoral nerve, obturator nerve, articular branches of the sciatic nerve, and superior gluteal nerve. Because of the increasing use of ultrasound (US) in anesthesia practice, US-guided nerve blocks are widely used. Pericapsular nerve group block (PENG block) is a novel fascial block defined by Arango et al. This block aims to block the femoral nerve and the accessory obturator nerve by injecting local anesthetic between the pubic ramus and the psoas tendon. The iliopsoas plane block (IPB) is a new block defined by Nielsen et al. It does not cause a motor block, but selectively blocks the sensory branches of the hip joint originating from the accessory obturator nerve and the femoral nerve. This prospective study compares the efficacy of PENG block and IPB for postoperative analgesia management in patients undergoing hip arthroplasty with a prosthesis.

Tobacco Use DisorderThis is a multi-site, double-blind, randomized clinical trial of the 5-HT2A receptor agonist psilocybin for smoking cessation. Three sites with experience in conducting psilocybin research will be involved in this trial: Johns Hopkins University (JHU), the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), and New York University (NYU). The proposed study will treat 66 participants (22 at each site), randomized to receive either: 1) oral psilocybin (30 mg in session 1 and either 30 mg or 40 mg in session 2); or 2) oral niacin (150 mg in session 1 and either 150 mg or 200 mg in session 2), with sessions 1 week apart.

The Effect of Dihydroartemisinin in PCOS
Polycystic Ovary SyndromeArtemisinin has been widely used as a first-line antimalarial drug in routine clinical practice. In recent years, it has been reported that Artemisinin also has some significant anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and immune-modulating effects. The investigators' previous studies discovered that Artemisinin dramatically reduced serum androgen levels and improved poly-cystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) in animals. Preliminary study by the investigators found that artemisinin derivatives are capable of reducing both androgen levels and improving insulin resistance, two clinical characteristics of PCOS. Thus artemisinin derivatives has the potential effect to alleviate PCOS symptoms. The current study aims to investigate the effect of artemisinin on improving PCOS and serum androgen levels in PCOS subjects.

Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as pembrolizumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Giving efineptakin alfa and pembrolizumab may kill more tumor cells in patients with recurrent glioblastoma.
