Reparixin in Patients With Myelofibrosis Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Research Consortium (MPN-RC...
Myelofibrosis (PMF)Post Essential Thrombocythemia Myelofibrosis (ET-MF)1 moreThis is an open label, phase II study to assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Reparixin in patients with DIPSS intermediate-2, or high-risk primary myelofibrosis (PMF), post essential thrombocythemia/polycythemia vera related MF (Post ET/PV MF) after prior treatment, and those who are ineligible or refuse treatment, with a Janus kinase inhibitor (JAKi). 26 patients will be enrolled. Eligible patients will receive oral reparixin three times daily on a 4-week cycle for a core study period of 6 cycles (24 weeks). After cycle 6, patients may continue receiving reparixin once daily on a 4-week cycle if at least stable disease (SD) is met by IWG-MRT criteria until loss of response, disease progression, unacceptable toxicity, patient/physician withdrawal, or termination of study by sponsor.

Baricitinib, Methotrexate as Monotherapy or Combination in the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThe goal of this open-label randomized clinical trial is to assess the efficacy of baricitinib 2 mg in comparison to methotrexate 25 mg as monotherapy followed by baricitinib 4 mg in comparison to methotrexate 10 mg and baricitinib 2 mg combination in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with moderate to severe disease activity. The main question it aims to answer: • Is there any difference in the efficacy of baricitinib as monotherapy in comparison to methotrexate monotherapy or methotrexate-baricitinib combination in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

Transcutaneous Auricular Vagal Nerve Stimulation for Functional Dyspepsia With Sleep Disturbances:...
Functional DyspepsiaSleep DisturbancesFunctional dyspepsia(FD) is most common in functional gastrointestinal disorders whose rick factors include sleep disturbances. The medication treatment for functional dyspepsia with sleep disturbances has disadvantages such as addiction and withdrawal symptoms. Transcutaneous auricular vagal nerve stimulation(taVNS) is a new therapeutic method to improve dyspepsia and sleep. Study on taSNS for FD with sleep disturbances has not yet been explored.

Late Feasibility Study to Evaluate Safety and Efficacy of AWAK PD Device in Subjects With ESKD....
Chronic Kidney DiseasesThe goal of this late feasibility clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the Automated Wearable Artificial Kidney (AWAK) peritoneal dialysis (PD) device in subjects with end-stage kidney disease. The main questions it aims to answer are: the success of AWAK PD therapies when used in a home-setting the safety and effectiveness of the AWAK PD system Participants will: be titrated to find a suitable AWAK PD prescription be trained on how to use the AWAK PD system independently use the AWAK PD system at home for at least 7 days

Feasibility, Acceptability and Effect of a Transdiagnostic Psychological Treatment for Anxiety and...
Anxiety DepressionCBTThe goal of this open clinical trial is to try out and evaluate a relatively new transdiagnostic psychological treatment, Unified Protocol (UP-C/A), in group format for children and adolescents aged 7-17 years of age with anxiety and/or depression and their parents, in primary care. The therapists in the project will receive training and on-going supervision in UP-C/A. The main questions it aims to answer are: What are the children's (patients) and parents experience of undergoing a transdiagnostic psychological treatment (UP-C/A) in primary care? What are the therapists' experience of having carried out the treatment with a transdiagnostic psychological treatment (UP-C/A) in primary care? To what extent do children and parents answer self-reports and clinician administered instruments regarding symptoms of anxiety, depression, function and quality of life? To what extent do children and their parents complete the treatment and what is the dropout rate? What does the distribution of diagnoses and co-morbidity look like for patients included in the study? What is the treatment outcome with regard to emotion regulation, symptoms of anxiety, depression, function and quality of life? rated by patients, parents and therapists. To what extent are any effects maintained at a 6-month follow-up? The participants and their parents will partake in group treatment with Unified Protocol of 11 sessions following an initial screening with the Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview for children and adolescents (MINI-KID).

Efficacy and Safety of Polylevolactic Acid Injection Combined With 1565nm Non-ablative Fractional...
Striae DistensaeStriae distensae (SD), also known as stretch marks, are common, permanent dermal lesions that can be symptomatic and are considered aesthetically undesirable; thus, they pose a significant psychosocial and therapeutic challenge. SD arise in areas of dermal stretching and most commonly occur on the abdomen, breasts, buttocks, and thighs. Most literature has described SD during pregnancy(striae gravidarum) and puberty, with reported prevalences varying from 11% to 88%. Hormonal influences, reduced genetic expression of fibronectin, collagen, and elastin, and mechanical stretching of the skin have all been postulated to contribute to SD formation. In the acute phase, SD appear as red/violaceous lesions (striae rubrae; SR) that can be raised and symptomatic. The chronic form (striae albae; SA) exists as hypopigmented dermal depressions. Polylevolactic Acid(PLLA) is at present one of the most promising biodegradable polymers (biopolymers) and has been the subject of abundant literature over the last decade. PLLA can be processed with a large number of techniques and is commercially available (large-scale production) in a wide range of grades. Previous studies have found that 1565-nm laser can promote the synthesis of types I, III, and VII collagen and elastin, as well as the remodeling of dermal collagen. According to previous studies, dermal collagen deposition and remodeling may be related to the mechanism by which 1565-nm laser improves SD.

Quality of Recovery in Parturients Consumed Preoperative Carbohydrate Fluid for Elective Cesarean...
Quality of LifeBreastfeeding2 moreThe establishment of the Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean protocols resulted in to the production of specific care pathways with the aim of optimizing recovery after cesarean delivery (CD) and to reduce the costs to the health care system. Carbohydrate rich fluids are offered in this aspect to enhance postoperative quality of recovery. The primary aim of this randomised control trial is to assess the impact of pre-operative carbohydrate loading on obstetric quality of recovery after elective cesarean section.
