Clinical Study of Vascular Imaging Evaluation of Computed Tomography Photoacoustic Breast Imaging...
Breast TumorUltrasonographyUsing color Doppler ultrasound to screen people with breast masses. For the patients who show only a single mass on either side of the breast in color Doppler ultrasound, computer tomography photoacoustic breast imaging will be performed. By comparing the two modalities, the blood vessel imaging performance of the computer tomography photoacoustic breast imaging system developed by Union Photoacoustic technologies Co., Ltd is evaluated. The evaluation index of this experiment is the percentage of blood vessel pixels in the same region of interest (Region Of Interest, ROI) to the total area of the ROI.

Dental Anxiety Among Children Pre and Post COVID 19 Pandemic
Dental AnxietyDental fear and anxiety is a significant issue that affects pediatric patients and creates challenges in oral health management. Considering that the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, along with its associated sanitary regime, social distancing measures and nationwide quarantines, could itself induce public fears, including in children, it is of great interest to explore whether this situation and the necessity of reorganizing dental care could potentially affect the emotional state of pediatric patients facing a need for urgent dental intervention

COVID-19 Patients Admitted to the ICU
Covid19A retrospective analysis of the adult COVID-19 patients admitted to the ICU. A chart review will be conducted and multiple baseline characteristics, demographics, and treatments given will be recorded. Variables collected will include Age, Gender, BMI, Smoking status, Past medical history, Vital signs on admission, symptoms on admission, duration of symptoms, laboratory results on admission, treatment given. Treatment options will include (Steroids, plasma exchange, IVIG, antibiotics, mode of respiratory support). Primary outcomes will include; Death, duration of ICU stay, duration of mechanical ventilation, in-hospital complications. A regression model will be used to predict poor prognostic factors. Inclusion criteria: patients with confirmed PCR results for COVID-19 AND require ICU admission. Exclusion criteria: those with negative results, pediatric patients and those not requiring ICU admission.

The Dynamic Change of MMN in Patients With Sepsis Associated Encephalopathy
Sepsis-Associated EncephalopathyMismatch NegativitySepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE), is one of the most common organ dysfunction during the acute phase in sepsis and septic shock. Electroencephalogram (EEG) and auditory evoked potentials (AEPs), which reflect different aspects of brain function, are the most commonly used neurophysiological indices to detect acute brain dysfunction in critically ill patients including sepsis and septic shock. AEPs show the systemic responsiveness of the central nervous to auditory stimuli, so they can be considered a direct measure of brain responsiveness. Mismatch negativity (MMN) is a change-specific component of ERPs, which elicited by a deviant stimulus occurring in a sequence of repetitive stimuli. This component is thought to represent the automatic and unconscious detection of acoustic changes which requires good perceptual discriminative capacity and iconic memory. The peaks of MMN appear at 100 ~ 250 ms from deviant stimulus onset; with increasing magnitude of stimulus change, the peak latency of MMN was shortened and the amplitude increased. Since MMN can be elicited even in the absence of attention, subjects do not need to actively participate. The MMN has been extensively demonstrated to be used in the prediction of awakening in comatose patients for various reasons, and also has been reported to predict awakening in deeply sedated critically ill patients recently. However, it remains unclear whether SAE affects MMN in amplitude and latency that reflects cognitive processing of the auditory information. Patients with sepsis and septic shock who met the inclusion criteria were screened daily on the CAM-ICU scale, and those with positive CAM-ICU were diagnosed with SAE.All patients were tested for event-evoked potentials on Day 1 and Day 3 after inclusion and were followed up to Day 28 after discharge. The investigators intend to observe the dynamic change of MMN amplitude and latency between SAE and non-SAE groups. Logic regression analysis was used to determine whether the change of MMN was a predictor of SAE.

Contrast Induced Nephropathy Among Vascular Patients Undergoing Lower Limb Angioplasty
Contrast-induced NephropathyContrast induced nephropathy (CIN) is an iatrogenic renal injury following intravascular administration of radio-opaque contrast media (CM) in susceptible individuals. As the third leading cause of hospital acquired renal failure, it is associated with increased mortality, morbidity and prolonged hospital stay. Endovascular procedures have gained greater popularity in the past decade due to the advance in technology. This has also led to the increased incidence of CIN after vascular surgeries. We are conducting a retrospective cohort study in Singapore General Hospital using our perioperative database collected in the past five years. We will be extracting relevant patient perioperative information including both clinical diagnosis and lab values. Our primary aim is to establish the incidence of CIN among vascular patients with or without pre-existing chronic renal impairment undergoing elective peripheral endovascular angioplasty. Our secondary aims are to establish the risk factors and protective factors that lead to the development of CIN in vascular patients after peripheral endovascular angioplasty. We will also be looking at the long-term outcome of patients who have developed CIN after vascular endovascular angioplasty. The results of the study will enable us to identify patients at high risk of development of CIN, thus appropriate measures can be initiated early and help with their recovery process.

Attachment Predicts Post Cesarean Pain
Cesarean Section ComplicationsAttachment Disorder1 moreThe Adult Attachment Style (AAS) is a questionnaire designed to measure how an adult generally feels in their close personal relationships. The questionnaire has two main axes of measurements - avoidance and anxiety, that gives rise to four different categories of attachment styles. Women's attachment styles have been shown to be correlated to pain during labour, but not after. No study has analyzed whether attachment styles are correlated to the pain after cesarean section. This study will assess correlation between the AAS score, and pain after elective cesarean section. Additionally, this study aims to clarify the correlation between attachment scale and overall quality of recovery after cesarean section as defined by a recently validated tool, the ObsQoR10.
