Studies of Biomarkers in Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms
Disorder of the Lower Urinary TractTo determine the sensitivity and specificity of urinary NGF, PGE2, IL-6, EGF or combinations in diagnosing different urodynamic diagnoses.

The Association Between Overweight and Oocyte Diameter in Women Undergoing Vitro Fertilization
InfertilityObesityWe believe that there is an association between BMI and oocyte diameter in women undergoing IVF treatments. We plan to measure the oocyte diameter in 2 groups of women undergoing IVF. One group will have BMI 20-25 and the other group will have BMI above 30.

Genetics Study of In-stent Restenosis
Coronary Artery DiseaseThe investigators hypothesized that genetic variants of G protein influence the development of restenosis and clinical outcome of patients receiving drug-eluting stents (DES).

Early Postoperative Recurrence in Crohn's Disease: Predictors of Research Targeting the Constitutional...
Flammatory Bowel DiseaseCrohn's DiseaseCrohn's disease is a disease of complex etiology, multifactorial and still poorly understood. This disease, due to its morbidity and mortality, poses a significant public health problem in France. Apart from the involvement of bacterial factors and those involving the permeability of the epithelial barrier, it is now well recognized that several factors are associated with genetic predisposition in some of these patients. Among these factors, the Nod2 mutations were first identified. Studies concerning the presence of these mutations and the severity of disease results were sometimes conflicting. Very recently, new interesting mutations in genes involved in autophagy were found with greater frequency in patients with Crohn's disease. These mutations observed in Atg16 and IRGM genes. It has been particularly shown on large patient cohorts, the IRGM polymorphism was associated with a progressive disease, with histological severity scores. One of the severity criteria of Crohn's disease is the early recurrence observed in some patients after surgical resection of the injured segment. Predictive factors for such recurrence after surgery are not known or not.

Biomarkers Study in Pancreatic Cancer
Biomarkers Study in Pancreatic CancerStudy Design: Patients are eligible if (1) enrolled to TCOG 3207(2) received surgery or biopsy for pancreatic cancer; (3) willing to sign informed consent. The pancreatic tumor, tissue specimen and blood sample before or after treatment will be collected from department of pathology, surgery or diagnostic medicine.

Assessment of a New System to Detect, Quantify and Treat Near Falls in Older Adults
Idiopathic FallersThe study is aimed to assess a new system for the automatic detection, quantification and treatment of Near Fall (NF) episodes in healthy older adults with a history of falls. The system is comprized of a treadmill and a virtual reality simulation which provides a motor-cognitive challenge to provoke NF. The challenges provided by the system are individualized and using machine learning algorithms will enable the identification and detection of NF under different conditions and allow for the most suitable treatment.

US Eeva™ Pregnancy Investigational Clinical Study (US EPIC)

Nasal Specimen Collection Study in Patients With ILI and/or ARI in an Outpatient Setting
Influenza-like IllnessInfluenzal Acute Respiratory InfectionThis is a prospective specimen collection study targeting patients presenting with Influenza Like Illness (ILI) and/or Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) in an out-patient setting. A non-invasive, user friendly sampling technique, using midturbinate flocked swabs will be used. These nasal swabs will be collected in different volumes of viral transport media (0.5mL and 3.0mL), for different dilution range of the viruses present in the collected biological specimen. The collection of nasal swabs samples will support the optimization of point of care detection methods for respiratory viruses responsible for ILI and/or ARI.

Prevalence of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease in Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis Patients
Gastroesophageal Reflux DiseaseThe purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of GERD among chronic kidney disease with peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis in Korea.

Periodontally Accelerated Orthodontics - A Novel Technique For a Shortened Orthodontic Treatment...
Periodontal Status of Patients Treated With PAO TecPeriodontally accelerated orthodontics, also known as PAO, is a novel technique combining alveolar corticotomy and bone grafting prior to commencing orthodontic treatment. Using this technique orthodontic de-crowding and space closing, can be completed in 60-70% less active orthodontic treatment time. The addition of particulated bone graft following decortication allows for the widening of the bucco-lingual alveolar bony dimension, thus creating space for the movement of teeth, without the creation of dehiscences, usually a negative sequel of the standard orthodontic treatment. Aim: To evaluate the use of the PAO technique for the treatment of 20 adult patients 1 year post orthodontic treatment. Methods: 20 periodontally healthy adult patients requiring orthodontic treatment were admitted in the departments of Periodontics and Orthodontics in Hadassah Medical Center. All patients underwent full orthodontic and periodontal examination upon admission including a pretreatment CBCT scan. Decortication followed by grafting was made after the orthodontic appliances have been placed. The orthodontic appliances were activated immediately after surgery and every 2 weeks. During the 1 year follow up a periodontal and orthodontic clinical evaluation were made, as well as a CBCT scan.
