The Effect of Nitozumab in the Treatment of Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma

HNSCC

For patients with locally advanced head and neck tumors who are over 70 years old, have PS>2, have hearing impairment, renal dysfunction, or have neuropathy greater than grade 1 that is intolerant to cisplatin, radiotherapy alone or combined with EGFR monoclonal antibody radiotherapy should be chosen. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the superior efficacy of Nitozumab and Sinilimab when added to radiotherapy in the treatment of high-risk participants with resected locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (LA SCCHN) who are ineligible to receive cisplatin-based chemoradiation concurrently.

The Role of Cytoreductive Nephrectomy in Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma in Immuno-oncology Era:...

Kidney CancerClear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma Metastatic1 more

BACKGROUND: The role of cytoreductive nephrectomy (CN) in the treatment of metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) has been questioned and remains undetermined in the immuno-oncology era. Results from the two randomized trials, CARMENA and SURTIME, have questioned the role and timing of the surgery in these patients, however, these trials have only used the targeted therapy, sunitinib. With the advent of more effective systemic therapies including immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), the role of surgical therapy should be reexamined. RATIONALE: The therapeutic effects of ICIs have demonstrated improved oncological outcomes compared to sunitinib. The updated results reported the beneficial role of upfront and deferred CN approach for selected patients. No studies have formally investigated the role of CN in the immune-oncology era where combinatorial use of CN plus ICIs might be beneficial. HYPOTHESIS: Upfront or deferred CN will improve oncological outcomes (overall survival, and progression free survival) in patients with synchronous mRCC and ≤3 IMDC risk features compared to immune checkpoint inhibitors (nivolumab plus ipilimumab combination) alone. This is an open, randomized, multicenter comparison trial, designed to evaluate the effect of the potential role of CN in combination with immunotherapy in mRCC patients with IMDC intermediate and poor risk.

Efficacy and Safety of Super-hyperfractionation Pulse Radiotherapy Combined With ICIs for Advanced...

Lung CancerImmune Checkpoint Inhibitor1 more

Investigators intend to combine low-dose hypersensitivity with high-dose immunopotentiation effect, and use super-hyperfractionation pulse radiotherapy, which is expected to achieve the effect of in situ vaccine that can enhance tumor killing, protect normal tissues, reduce immune cell damage and enhance tumor immunogenicity at the same time, and play a stronger immunopotentiation effect in combined immunotherapy. Thereby inducing a stronger abscopal effect of radiotherapy.

Tegavivint for Treating Patients With Relapsed or Refractory Large B-Cell Lymphoma

Recurrent Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Activated B-Cell TypeRecurrent Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Germinal Center B-Cell Type11 more

This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, and best dose of tegavivint in treating patients with large b-cell lymphomas that has come back (relapsed) or does not respond to treatment (refractory). Tegavivint may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving tegavivint may help control the disease.

Apatinib Mesylate Versus Standard Second-line TKI in the Treatment of Advanced GIST

Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors

The goal of this Mesylate apatinib versus standard second-line TKI in the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal stromal tumors: a randomized, open, controlled, single-center clinical study is to explore the efficacy and safety of Apatinib compared with second-line treatment in advanced GIST patients with first-line TKI failure. The main questions it aims to answer are: To explore the efficacy and safety of Apatinib compared with standard second-line treatment for GIST with advanced first-line TKI failure. To explore the expression level and MVD value of VEGFR2 in GIST, and to explore the relationship between the expression level and the location, size, mitotic image and recurrence risk grading of GIST. Patients with advanced GIST were randomly included in the trial group and the control group at a ratio of 1:1.
