The purpose of this project is to assess the impact of an educational video on the use of prescription opioid medication during a 6-month period following spine surgery. Subjects will be recruited from the pool of patients coming in for the pre-operative appointment prior to spine surgery. Patients that consent and enroll will be randomized to receive either a brief educational video at this appointment or usual care. Patients will be followed after surgery weekly for the first month, and then again at 6 months to determine their prescription opioid medication utilization patterns. Prescription data will also be pulled from electronic medical records.

This study will test the effects of a sedentary behavior intervention on low back pain in working adults. The behavioral intervention will include the use of a sit-stand desk and a wrist-worn activity prompter that will notify participants when they have been sedentary for too long.

The main objective of the trial is to evaluate the efficacy of fasinumab compared to placebo as measured by the change from baseline in the average daily Low Back Pain Intensity (LBPI) Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). Secondary objectives of the study are to evaluate the efficacy of fasinumab compared to placebo as measured by: Change from baseline in the Roland Morris disability questionnaire (RMDQ) total score Change from baseline in the Patient Global Assessment (PGA) of Low Back Pain (LBP) score Change from baseline in the average daily LBPI NRS score

Aim: To compare trunk muscle activity, lumbar spine range of motion (ROM) and LBP during gait using an unstable shoe (Intervention group) and a conventional stable control shoe (Control Group). Nowadays, the research priority in low back pain area have been find subgroup of patients with the same characteristics that might achieve better outcomes in a specific intervention. However, even though the studies in this area have increased, questions of this nature remaining without an adequate answer, or with limited evidence. Therefore, the investigators propose to examine the ability of clinical tests, developed to assess alterations related to clinical lumbar instability, to identify subgroups of patients with non specific chronic low back pain that may have better outcomes after a motor control exercises intervention.
