The goal of this study is to evaluate subject outcomes and spectacle independence with intraoperative aberrometry and trifocal IOL implantation.

Cataract surgery is known to cause loss of corneal endothelial cells. In adults, it is reported that anywhere between 2 to 15% loss of corneal endothelial cell density occurs following cataract surgery. However, no data is available regarding endothelial changes after cataract surgery with IOL implantation in pediatric eyes. The aim of this study is to prospectively observe changes in endothelial cell density, coefficient of variation and hexagonality following cataract surgery with IOL implantation in pediatric eyes.

Patients are routinely given steroid eye drops following cataract surgery. This study will compare 2 approved drops:Loteprednol Etabonate versus Prednisolone Acetate Eye drops used following cataract surgery. Patients will be randomly assigned to one drop or the other, and evaluated for inflammation and intraocular pressure as part of the comparison. The study Doctor will be masked as to which drop the patient receives to avoid bias.

The Cohort of Swedish Men began in 1997, when all men born between 1918 and 1952 and residing in two counties in central Sweden received a questionnaire including about 350 items concerning diet and other lifestyle factors. A second questionnaire was sent out in 2008-09.

The purpose of this study is to test the existence of an increased risk of cataracts among interventional cardiologists as compared to cardiologists not exposed to X-rays.

The objective of this study is to discover the genes responsible for the development of hereditary cataracts in families. A cataract is clouding of the lens of the eye that obstructs the passage of light and may impair vision. Information from this study may provide a better understanding of why hereditary cataracts form and perhaps lead to the development of a test that can predict who will likely be affected and to what degree. Patients or family members of patients with inherited cataracts who participate in this study will be asked questions about their family history, especially concerning eye disease or cataracts, and a family tree will be drawn. They will undergo a complete eye examination, including photographs to document the clarity or opacity of the lens. In addition, a small blood sample will be drawn for use in gene mapping studies of inherited cataract.

To assess if the Alcon Argos Biometer utilizing the Barrett Universal II formula for IOL calculations can give a non-inferior outcome when compared to the Zeiss IOL master 700 utilizing the (PCA) with the Barrett Universal II (TK) formula, when comparing the (mean absolute prediction error of the predicted target spherical equivalencies).

230 participants at Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University during June, 2019 and August, 2019 were enrolled in this study. 230 right eyes and 88 left eyes were included for the measurement. All the measurements were performed under non-mydriatic conditions in a dim examination room using the CASIA2 swept-source AS-OCT system.

To determine if cataract surgery may have an impact on the natural history of early DME (E-DME)

The study will assess visual outcomes, light disturbances and patients' satisfaction after implantation with the Liberty677MY multifocal IOL, as well as protection of PCO development within 5 year follow-up.
