Comparison of Corneal Aberrations and Visual Outcomes in AcrySof IQ Toric Patients Versus Limbal...
CataractsA prospective evaluation of postoperative corneal aberrations and visual parameters in patients assigned to either an AcrySof IQ Toric intraocular lens (IOL) group or a group implanted with a SN60WF IOL and having concomitant limbal relaxing incision.
Intelligent Cataract Screening With Portable Slit-lamp
Catarct ScreeningArtificial IntelligenceBased on the portable slit-lamp connected to the smartphone, the artificial intelligence machine learning algorithm is used to establish a cataract screening model by prospectively collecting the anterior segment photographic data, and a portable slit lamp intelligent screening referral model based on the smartphone connection is also established.
Implantation of a Trifocal Hydrophobic IOL in Patients That Underwent Refractive Surgery
CataractLens Opacities1 moreControlled, open label, prospective Post Market Clinical Follow-Up, single-center clinical study to investigate visual performance after implantation of a trifocal IOL (PhysIOL Pod L GF) in patients that underwent refractive surgery.
Prediction of Postoperative Visual Acuity in Cataract Patients Using a Macular Optical Coherence...
Data CollectingThe purpose of this study is to collect the macular OCT images and preoperative and postoperative visual acuity of cataract patients who had been operated in the eye center of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College, and to train a model that can relatively accurately predict the postoperative visual acuity of patients by deep learing.
Recommendations for Monitoring Clinical Experience Following Implantation of the AcrySof® Toric...
CataractTo allow surgeons to obtain clinical experience on the postoperative uncorrected and best distance corrected visual acuities (UCVA and BDCVA) and corneal and refractive cylinder of the AcrySof Toric IOL.
Comperative Trial Between an Accommodative Iol and Monofocal Iol
CATARACT SURGERYa comparison of two intraocular lenses in regard of accommodative power.
Visual Outcomes and Patient Satisfactory After PanOptix Implantation in Hyperopic Cataract Patients...
CataractHyperopiaTo evaluate visual outcomes and patient satisfactory after PanOptix implantation in hyperopic cataract patients
PREFERENTIAL Study
Cataract SurgeryGlaucoma SurgeryTo determine patient preference for the dexamethasone insert or topical prednisolone therapy through at Day 45 as measured by - Modified COMTOL survey.
Effect of Artificial Tears on Biometry
CataractThe purpose of this study is to determine if measurements for cataract surgery are improved with use of additional lubrication with artificial tears. The research study is being done to optimize measurements and provide patients with the best visual outcomes after cataract surgery.
Study of the Effect of Aspheric Lenses in Patients With Fuch's Dystrophy
Fuch's Endothelial DystrophyCataractsThe proposed study will recruit patients with mild to moderate Fuch's dystrophy who need cataract surgery alone. They will be randomly assigned to receive either spheric or aspheric lenses. If both eyes of a patient need surgery, we will implant the same type of lens in each eye in order to prevent imbalanced vision. We will measure their contrast sensitivity and higher order aberrations before surgery and 3 months after surgery. We will compare the change in these values between the two groups.
