Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation as Treatment for Post-surgical Groin Pain

Post Surgical Groin Pain

25-SMI-2014 is a post market observational, questionnaire based study to assess the effectiveness of the Axium neurostimulator as a treatment for chronic post surgical groin pain. Within is also a nested feasibility study to assess the clinical utility of a Quantitive Sensory Testing (QST) protocol in the management of the described study group.

Sterotactic Operation Integrating With Thrombolysis in Basal Ganglion Hemorrhage Evacuation

Basal Ganglia Haematoma

Spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage is one of the main causes of death and disability all over the world, accounting for 20%-30% of all cerebrovascular diseases. Minimally invasive surgery of cerebral hemorrhage, especially puncture aspiration, can improve early and long-term neurological recovery in patients with cerebral hemorrhage. Until now, no standardized practice for minimally invasive surgery of spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage has been established. Hematoma puncture and drainage based on CT scans without precise localization and personalized approach design, which may lead to poor efficacy and high risk of complications. Our hospital has much experience in treating cerebral hemorrhage with stereotactic puncture and aspiration. So we conduct a prospective multicenter randomized controlled clinical trial to determine the therapeutic effects of puncture aspiration plus thrombolysis treatment for the perioperative and long-term recovery of patients with small to moderate hematoma in deep basal ganglia via computerized precision coordinates and personalized approach design.

Sphenopalatine Ganglion Block for Post-Dural Puncture Headache in Orthopedic Patients

Sphenopalatine Ganglion BlockAdrenaline3 more

The aim of this study is to assess the efficacy, onset and duration of analgesia of sphenopalatine ganglion bock (SPGB) using lidocaine 4% with adrenaline as a treatment of postoperative Post dural puncture headache (PDPH) of orthopedic patients after lower limbs surgeries.

Emotions Analysis in Patients With Chronic Phase of Stroke Basal Ganglia

Stroke Basal Ganglia

Compare the emotional experience of patients with focal lesions of the basal ganglia by ischemic or hemorrhagic damage and healthy participants. These anomalies will be highlighted by neuropsychological and electrophysiological assessments.

Dorsal Root Ganglion Stimulation for Hand and Upper Limb Pain

Dorsal Root Ganglion StimulationPain in Limb4 more

There are no studies as yet specifically investigating the application of DRG stimulation in the treatment of chronic pain affecting the upper limbs. The investigators propose to investigate the effect of dorsal root stimulation in patients with chronic hand or upper limb pain.

Different Sutures in Hand Surgery

All Minor Hand Surgery IncludingCarpal Tunnel Syndrome4 more

This study aims to assess the relationship between overall satisfaction with treatment in a group of randomized patients undergoing elective hand surgery using either absorbable (4-0 Chromic) or non-absorbable (5-0 Nylon) sutures. The investigators will also assess factors associated with wound concerns, pain intensity, magnitude of limitations, and physical function within one month of surgery.

Comparison of Methods of Lumbar Sympathetic Ganglion Block: Distance vs Angle

Lumbar Sympathetic Ganglion Block Indication: Neuropathic PainCRPS1 more

Lumbar sympathetic ganglion block is used for several neuropathic pain syndromes. The best method of lumbar sympathetic ganglion block is not established. The investigators would compare two methods of lumbar sympathetic ganglion block. One is modified Reid method which's entry point is 7~7.5cm from midline of spinous process of lumbar spine. The other is angular method which's entry angle is 30 degree from anterior-posterior view of C-arm. Comparison modified Reid method with angular method would be helpful for finding best method of lumbar sympathetic ganglion block.

The Effect of Stellate Ganglion Block on Postoperative Sleep Disturbance and Cognitive Function...

Stellate Ganglion Block

Postoperative delirium is an acute state of confusion, which is characterized by changes in attention and cognitive functions and fluctuations in consciousness; postoperative cognitive dysfunction is a common central nervous system complication in elderly patients after surgery, often manifested as memory, Obstacles in abstract thinking and orientation are accompanied by a decline in social activity ability. Postoperative delirium and cognitive dysfunction can prolong hospital stay, increase medical expenses, affect postoperative functional recovery, and even increase postoperative mortality. Sleep disorders are a group of diseases that affect the ability to sleep well regularly and cause severe impairment of social and occupational functions. Stellate ganglion block is a selective sympathetic ganglion block, in which a local anesthetic is injected into the loose connective tissue of the neck including the stellate ganglion. There are complex connections between stellate ganglia and multiple brain regions in the brain, which can improve postoperative delirium, cognitive function and sleep disturbance to a certain extent, and have certain guiding significance for postoperative rehabilitation of elderly patients.
