Influence of CPP-ACP paste and Elmex Medical Gel on the prevention of white spot lesions in orthodontic patients during fixed appliances.

A double-blind, prospective, randomized, intra-individual comparative, single-center clinical study was conducted. Participants were placed in parallel groups, and the study was performed in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Periodontology, Dental School and Hospital, Minia university to compare the antibacterial activity of yarrow Moringa herbal combinations nanoparticles in compared to Chlorhexidine as a potential treatment for gingivitis.

8-week study using stannous fluoride toothpaste on subjects with gingivitis ("unhealthy") and without gingivitis ("healthy"). Gingivitis index will be performed at BL, Week 4 and Week 8. A number of biological samples will be collected at each timepoint.

Clinical evaluation of using erythritol powder as air polishing with ultrasonic scaling and root planing in the treatment of initial periodontal pockets. This trial will be split-mouth design, in which each patient will receive traditional treatment (ultrasonic mechanical therapy and polishing) in one side, while the contralateral two quadrants of the jaws will be treated with erythritol powder by means of air polishing and ultrasonic scaling and root planing.

This is a six (6) month, double-blind, parallel, controlled clinical trial utilizing one hundred and sixty (160) adults to evaluate the reduction of dental plaque and gingivitis.

This study will track changes in oral health in pregnant women. Subjects will be assigned to either regular oral care or advanced oral care and be given oral care products to use until they deliver. A comparison between the two groups (regular and advanced oral care) will be made to see if the oral care products impacted oral health and maternity variables.

The objective of this randomized, single-center, examiner-blind, controlled, parallel group, six-month clinical study is to compare the antiplaque/antigingivitis potential of a no-alcohol essential oil containing mouthrinse and an alcohol essential oil containing mouthrinse. A negative control group using only an ADA Accepted anticavity toothpaste will be included.
