Changes in Choroidal Thickness After Non Penetrating Deep Sclerectomy
Choroidal ThicknessOpen Angle Glaucoma1 moreProspective and observational study to determine if choroidal thickness increases after non penetrating deep sclerectomy in patients with open angle glaucoma
Vivity Outcomes in Patients With Early Stage Glaucoma
GlaucomaCataract1 moreThe goal of the study is to determine the visual outcomes in patients with mild, pre-perimetric glaucoma who undergo cataract surgery with implantation of the Alcon Vivity Extended Range Intraocular Lens (IOL).
"Predicting Glaucoma Progression With Optical Coherence Tomography Structural and Angiographic Parameters"....
Optical Coherence Tomography Glaucomato predict of glaucoma progression. By imaging of the retinal nerve fiber layer RNFL, optic nerve head (ONH) and macular measurements using spectral-domain OCT (SD-OCT) instruments ,and detection of optic disc perfusion changes using OCTA.
Correlative Study on Incidence and Risk Factors of Glaucoma-related Adverse Event at Various Durations...
The Incidence and Risk Factors of Glaucoma After Congenital Cataract SurgeryA retrospective chart review of 264 eyes from 177 patients was performed who underwent congenital cataract surgery before the age of 14 years. All patients' surgery was performed by the same experienced surgeon at the Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from May 2011 to March 2019. We recorded patient demographics and incidence and risk factors for glaucoma-related adverse event. This study to identify the incidence of and risk factors associated with postoperative glaucoma at various durations after congenital cataract surgery.
Prevalence of Glaucoma in the Israeli Arab Population
Glaucomathere is a variety of glaucoma prevalence within different populations. this study examine the prevalence of glaucoma in the Arab population in Israel' as well as the demographic variables and the compliance to treatment in the population.
Saccadic Eye Movements Are Impaired In Glaucoma
GlaucomaOpen-AngleThe purpose of this study is to determine whether rapid eye movements called saccades are impaired in glaucoma, a neurodegenerative disease of visual pathways.
Comparison of Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) Thickness Measurements by Time-Domain and Spectral-Domain...
Primary Open Angle GlaucomaMeasurement of RNFL thickness by OCT is at a cornerstone for the correct diagnosis and monitoring of progression of glaucomatous optic neuropathy. Spectral domain technology has enabled better reproducibility with better axial resolution in the measurement of RNFL thickness. A comparative study among Stratus, Cirrus and RT-View will enable clinicians to determine differences among various instruments.
Clinical Application of Sensimed Triggerfish Sensor (TS) With Wireless Signal Transmission for Continuous...
GlaucomaThe study objective is to investigate the clinical applicability of continuous IOP measurement using TS with radio transmission over 24 hours. Trial with medical device
The Results of Ahmed Valve Operations
GlaucomaGlaucoma drainage devices are usually placed in the superior quadrants. The superotemporal quadrant is usually the site of choice. However, when the upper fornix is scarred and especially when conjunctiva is two fibrotic to enable adequate coverage of tube with a scleral or other patch graft, some surgeons place the tube in one of inferior quadrants.
Patterns of Glaucoma in Glaucoma Subspecialty Clinics in Egypt and India in the Year 2018
Determining Patterns of Glaucoma in Glaucoma Sub-specialty Clinics in Two Countries: Egypt and IndiaIn this study, we are aiming to identify the patterns of glaucoma observed and treated at Glaucoma Subspecialty Clinics of Kasr Al-Aini Hospital, Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt and corresponding clinics in Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya Post Graduate Institute of Ophthalmology in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India during the year 2018. We are hoping that this study would provide an update on current statistics available on Indian population as well as provide novel numbers on the prevalence of glaucoma and its patterns in one of the largest tertiary care hospitals in Egypt. These results will then be compared to patterns observed in other epidemiological studies done in other countries.
