Effectiveness of a Preoperative Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program in Patients Awaiting Lung Resection...
Lung CancerThe purpose of this study is to establish the effectiveness of a preoperative pulmonary rehabilitation program in patients awaiting lung resection for lung cancer by Video-assisted thoracic surgery in order to improve exercise tolerance and quality of life. The investigators hypothesized that a pulmonary rehabilitation program including both endurance and strength training may improve exercise tolerance and quality of life measured with a submaximal exercise test and a quality of life questionnaire respectively.

Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis randomized phase 2 trial is studying the effect of adding denosumab to standard chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced lung cancer.

Phase II Safety and Efficacy Study of Crizotinib in East Asian Patients With ROS1 Positive, ALK...
Non Small Cell Lung CancerROS1 Proto Oncogene1 moreTo assess treatment effectiveness and safety of oral crizotinib administered to East Asian patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) that is confirmed to be positive for a ROS1 positive gene mutation (translocation or inversion) and confirmed negative for an ALK mutation

Nintedanib in Treating Patients With Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Who Have Failed Up to Two...
Recurrent Non-small Cell Lung CancerSquamous Cell Lung Cancer2 moreThis phase II trial studies how well nintedanib works in treating patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who have failed up to two previous chemotherapy regimens. Nintedanib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.

A Study of Atezolizumab in Participants With Programmed Death - Ligand 1 (PD-L1) Positive Locally...
Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis multicenter, single-arm study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of Atezolizumab in participants with PD-L1-positive locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Participants will receive Atezolizumab 1200 milligrams (mg) intravenously every 3 weeks as long as participants are experiencing clinical benefit as assessed by the investigator, that is , in the absence of unacceptable toxicity or symptomatic deterioration attributed to disease progression.

Combination Checkpoint Inhibitor Plus Erlotinib or Crizotinib for EGFR or ALK Mutated Stage IV Non-small...
Non-small Cell Lung CancerThe goals of the overall study are to evaluate a recommended phase 2 dose and the short and long term toxicities of the combinations. This is a modified phase I trial of immune checkpoint inhibitors in combination with mutation - specific targeted therapy (crizotinib or erlotinib) at conventional doses stratified for presence of ALK (Anaplastic lymphoma kinase) or EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) mutation. The goals of the overall study are to evaluate a recommended phase 2 dose and the short and long term toxicities of the combinations.

A Study of Tarceva (Erlotinib) in Combination With Platinum Based Chemotherapy in Patients With...
Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of sequential administration of Tarceva and gemcitabine/platinum chemotherapy in patients with stage IIIb/IV non-small cell lung cancer. Patients will be randomized to receive Tarceva (150 mg po) or placebo on days 15-28 of a 4 week cycle of intravenous platinum-based chemotherapy, for a total of 6 cycles. The anticipated time on study treatment is until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.

A Study to Evaluate the Safety and Pharmacology of DNIB0600A in Participants With Platinum-Sensitive...
Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung CancerThis open-label, multicenter, phase 1b study will evaluate the safety and pharmacokinetics of DNIB0600A in participants with platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer (PSOC) or Non-Squamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC). The maximum tolerated dose of intravenously infused DNIB0600A in combination with carboplatin will be determined in escalating dose cohorts. The combination of DNIB0600A and carboplatin will then be evaluated with and without bevacizumab [Avastin] in three dose expansion cohorts.

Lung Cancer Non-small Cell Stage IVThe purpose of this study is to investigate how well the standard treatment (platinum-based doublet chemotherapy) in combination with denosumab works compared with the standard treatment alone in patients with a type of lung cancer called "non small cell lung cancer" (NSCLC) that has spread to other parts of the body.
