This study aims to compare the effect of acupuncture, with usual care (lifestyle management) for weight control, with BMI (Body Mass index) as main outcome along with improvement of reproductive and metabolic dysfunction in overweight and obese women with PCOS, and further exploring the alteration of lipidomics, bile acid omics, proteomics and branched-chain amino acids between PCOS and the normal controls, and before and after the acupuncture treatment in different gourps.

A Study of IBI362 in Participants With Obesity or Overweight

Obesity Or Overweight

This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase III clinical study evaluating the efficacy and safety of IBI362 in overweight or obese subjects. Subjects will be randomly assigned to IBI362 low-dose, high-dose and placebo groups. The entire trial cycle includes a 2-week screening period, a 48-week double-blind treatment period, and a 12-week drug withdrawal follow-up period after the end of treatment.

This study compares how three doses of semaglutide work in participants with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and overweight who are taking metformin. The study will look mainly at how well participant's blood sugar and participant's body weight are controlled when they are taking the study medicine at different doses. Participants will either get semaglutide [2 milligrams (mg), 8 mg, or 16 mg] or semaglutide placebo (a dummy medicine). Participants will take the study medicine with an injection pen called NovoPen®4. The injection pen is a medical tool with a needle used to inject the study medicine under the skin. The study will last for about 52 weeks. Participants will have 13 clinic visits and 4 phone calls.
