Addition of Rituximab to Leflunomide in Patients With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisCombination of rituximab (RTX) with several different chemotherapeutic regimes has proven synergistic effects in patients with either lymphoma or autoimmune diseases. First data of uncontrolled trials with the combination of RTX and leflunomide (LEF) are available.

Efficacy and Safety of CDP6038 in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis With an Unsuccessful Response...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of CDP6038 treatment in adult subjects with active rheumatoid arthritis who have had an inadequate response to anti-tumor necrosis factor (anti-TNF) therapy.

A Clinical Study of a Natural Remedy for Rheumatoid Arthritis vs. Commonly Used Conventional Medications...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a combined therapy for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The combined therapy contained paeoniflorin (Brand name: Pafulin), which has anti-inflammation properties, and Cervus and Cucumis polypeptide injection (Brand name: Songmeile), which has bone healing, pain relieving, and anti-inflammation properties. The hypothesis is that this remedy, which has long been used by the world's largest RA community, is effective and safe when tested by modern clinical standards and criteria.

A Two-Part, 12-Week Study of Etoricoxib as a Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) (MK-0663-107)...
ArthritisRheumatoidThis is a 2-part (6 weeks duration for each part), randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in participants with rheumatoid arthritis. The hypothesis is that etoricoxib (60 mg and 90 mg) administration will demonstrate superior efficacy compared to placebo after 6 weeks of treatment, as measured by the greater mean improvement from baseline in the Disease Activity Score C-Reactive Protein (DAS-28 CRP), and by the greater mean improvement in Patient Global Assessment of Pain (PGAP) from baseline over 6 weeks of treatment. Additionally, the added benefit of increasing the dose of etoricoxib from 60 mg to 90 mg will be assessed in the second part of the study.

First-in-Man Trial of NNC114-0005 in Healthy Subjects and Subjects With Rheumatoid Arthritis
InflammationRheumatoid Arthritis1 moreThis trial is conducted in Europe. The aim of this trial is to investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic (the effect of the body on the investigated drug), pharmacodynamic biomarkers (biomarkers related to anti-IL-21 expected mode of action) and signs of clinical efficacy of increasing single doses, at 9 i.v. (into the vein) dose levels in Healthy Subjects , at 3 i.v. dose levels in subjects with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and at 3 s.c. dose levels in Healthy Subjects.

PALACE 3: Efficacy and Safety Study of Apremilast to Treat Active Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriatic ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to determine whether apremilast is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis and a qualifying psoriasis lesion. Apremilast is proposed to improve signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis (tender and swollen joints, pain, physical function) in treated patients.

Efficacy and Safety Study of Apremilast to Treat Active Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA)
Psoriatic ArthritisThe purpose of this study is to determine whether apremilast is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis who have not been previously treated with DMARDs. Apremilast is proposed to improve signs and symptoms of psoriatic arthritis (tender and swollen joints, pain, physical function) in treated patients.

A Study of RoActemra/Actemra (Tocilizumab) Plus DMARDs in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis open-label study will evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of RoActemra/Actemra (tocilizumab) in combination with disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) in patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. Patients who successfully completed studies WA17823 and WA18696 in South Africa are eligible to participate in this study. Patients will be allowed DMARDs according to the treatment they received in the previous studies. Patients will receive 8 mg/kg RoActemra/Actemra intravenously every 4 weeks. The anticipated time on study treatment is 104 weeks.

Program evaLuating the Autoimmune Disease iNvEstigational Drug cT-p13 in RA Patients(PLANETRA)
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis is the trial to see how our product is similar to remicade by comparing the results of blood samples when co-administered with methotrexate between 12.5 to 25 mg/week, oral or parenteral dose and folic acid in rheumatoid arthritis patients who are not receiving adequate response to methotrexate alone up to week 30.

A Study of RoActemra/Actemra (Tocilizumab) in Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis Who Have an Inadequate...
Rheumatoid ArthritisThis open-label, single arm study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of RoActemra/Actemra (tocilizumab) in patients with active, moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis who have an inadequate response to disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) or anti-TNF. Patients will receive RoActemra/Actemra at a dose of 8 mg/kg (max 800 mg) intravenously every 4 weeks for a total of 6 infusions. Non-biologic DMARD therapy may be continued throughout the study. Anticipated time on study treatment is 24 weeks.
