LDFWART With Docetaxel in Patients With Platinum-Resistant Recurrent Ovarian Carcinoma
Ovarian CancerOvarian Carcinoma2 moreThe ultimate clinical aim of this proposed phase I trial is to evaluate the toxicity and determine the recommended phase II dose of combining the effect of LDFWART following administration of docetaxel for 6 cycles in patients with recurrent platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.

Donor Atorvastatin Treatment in Preventing Severe Acute GVHD After Nonmyeloablative Peripheral Blood...
Aggressive Non-Hodgkin LymphomaBlasts Under 5 Percent of Bone Marrow Nucleated Cells20 moreThis phase II trial studies how well donor atorvastatin treatment works in preventing severe graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after nonmyeloablative peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) transplant in patients with hematological malignancies. Giving low doses of chemotherapy, such as fludarabine phosphate, before a donor PBSC transplantation slows the growth of cancer cells and may also prevent the patient's immune system from rejecting the donor's stem cells. The donated stem cells may replace the patient's immune cells and help destroy any remaining cancer cells (graft-versus-tumor effect). Sometimes the transplanted cells from a donor can also cause an immune response against the body's normal cells (GVHD). Giving atorvastatin to the donor before transplant may prevent severe GVHD.

Efficacy and Safety Study of NeuVax™ (Nelipepimut-S or E75) Vaccine to Prevent Breast Cancer Recurrence...
Breast Cancer With Low to Intermediate HER2 ExpressionPurpose of this trial: To assess the efficacy and safety of NeuVax™ administered with adjuvant Leukine® (sargramostim, GM-CSF). To evaluate and compare the disease free survival (DFS) in the vaccinated and control subjects.

Genetically Modified Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant in Treating Patients With HIV-Associated...
Adult Nasal Type Extranodal NK/T-cell LymphomaAIDS-related Diffuse Large Cell Lymphoma43 moreThis clinical trial studies genetically modified peripheral blood stem cell transplant in treating patients with HIV-associated non-Hodgkin or Hodgkin lymphoma. Giving chemotherapy before a peripheral stem cell transplant stops the growth of cancer cells by stopping them from dividing or killing them. After treatment, stem cells are collected from the patient's blood and stored. More chemotherapy or radiation therapy is then given to prepare the bone marrow for the stem cell transplant. Laboratory-treated stem cells are then returned to the patient to replace the blood-forming cells that were destroyed by the chemotherapy and radiation therapy

Decrease in Circulating Tumour Cell Count Reflects the Effectiveness of Postoperative Adjuvant Transarterial...
Circulating Tumor Cell;Hepatocellular CarcinomaCirculating tumour cell (CTC) count could reflect the effect of postoperative transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) recurrence.

Efficacy and Safety Study of SPL7013 Gel to Prevent the Recurrence of Bacterial Vaginosis (BV)
Bacterial VaginosisA double-blind, phase 3 study to determine the efficacy of SPL7013 Gel when administered on alternate days for 16 weeks, compared to placebo gel in preventing the recurrence of BV in women with a history of recurrent BV.

Ziv-Aflibercept Followed by Ziv-Aflibercept, Fluorouracil, and Leucovorin Calcium in Treating Patients...
Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of the ColonMucinous Adenocarcinoma of the Rectum8 moreThis phase II trial studies how long it takes colorectal cancer resistant to standard treatment to grow while receiving treatment with ziv-aflibercept, and how well adding fluorouracil and leucovorin calcium to ziv-aflibercept works in treating patients with stage IV colorectal cancer after they progress on ziv-aflibercept alone. Ziv-aflibercept may stop the growth of colorectal cancer by blocking the formation of tumor blood vessels. Fluorouracil and leucovorin calcium are drugs used in chemotherapy. Fluorouracil works to stop the growth of tumors cells by preventing the cells from growing and dividing. Leucovorin calcium helps fluorouracil work better. Adding fluorouracil and leucovorin calcium to ziv-aflibercept may be an effective treatment for patients who progress on ziv-aflibercept alone.

A Panobinostat Presurgery
Recurrent GlioblastomaIn the current study, the investigators will evaluate intratumoral pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic data associated with the administration of the HDACI, Panobinostat, among recurrent GBM patients. In addition, this study will evaluate the safety and tolerability of this agent, as well as evidence of anti-tumor activity in the patient population.

Reducing Risk of Recurrence
StrokeTIA2 moreAdults who have had a previous stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) remain at risk for having a second serious event, especially if they have uncontrolled blood pressure or cholesterol. However, many patients have difficulty following treatment recommendations for lowering blood pressure and cholesterol. The purpose of this research project is to evaluate the effect of 2 booster sessions of an educational counseling intervention on how well adults who have already participated in a 6-month clinical trial had a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) are able to follow a treatment plan and control their blood pressure and cholesterol levels. We will also examine how effective this intervention is in improving adherence to diet, medication, and physical activity recommendations for adults who have had a prior stroke or TIA.
