Allergic Rhinitis Due to Grass PollenRe-evaluation of patients treated with intralymphatic immunotherapy (ILIT) in terms of quality of life and therapeutic efficacy and comparison with subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) 15 years post immunotherapy
Long-term Effect of a 3-month Supplementation With Holo-BLG on House Dust Mite Induced Allergic...
Dust Mite AllergyAllergic RhinitisThe aim of the study is to investigate the long-term effect of a lozenge containing beta-lactoglobulin (BLG), iron, retinoic acid, zinc and polyphenols (holo-BLG) in people with allergic rhinoconjunctivitis caused by house dust mites and the associated symptoms (symptom type and severity) during exposure to house dust mites in an Allergen Exposure Chamber (AEC). In particular, the study aims to evaluate whether the improvements in symptoms of house dust mite-induced rhinoconjunctivitis observed after 3 months of supplementation with holo-BLG can still be detected 7 to 8 months after the last intake.
A Study to Evaluate Cooling Sensation of an Allergy Product in Adults With a History of Allergies...
Allergic RhinitisIn this study, researchers were primarily interested in evaluating the level of agreement of cooling sensation provided by this chewable, flavored, allergy medicine. Participants joining this study received one test drug tablet and were asked to chew completely before swallowing the drug. A questionnaire was used to collect the feedback from participants. The study involved only one (1) visit and participant stayed in this study for about 60-75 minutes to evaluate the cooling sensation as well as other sensory attributes perceived in the mouth, nose and throat.
Diagnostic Equivalence of the Skin Prick Test Tape vs. Conventional Skin PrickTest
Allergic RhinitisAllergic Asthma2 moreTesting of a new ready-to-use Tape in comparison to the currently used skin prick test for the diagnosis of allergies. Assessment of clinical equivalence of the SPT Tape for representative common inhalant allergens to conventional SPT in terms of wheal reaction positivity and overall safety. Tests are performed in patients who have a medical history of relevant allergic rhinitis to any of the tested allergens.
Evaluation of an Integrated Care Project
AsthmaAllergic Rhinitis4 moreThe purpose of the study is to investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the integrated care program of a statutory health insurance offering additional homeopathic treatment to their members
Resolution of Allergic Inflammation
Grass Pollen Allergic RhinitisAfter an allergen challenge, the allergic inflammatory response disappears spontaneously. The initiation of the resolution of the inflammatory response is now recognized as a dynamic process, involving active biochemical programs that enable inflamed tissues to return to homeostasis. Recent data established key roles of different specific lipid mediators in the endogenous counter-regulation of inflammation and activation of resolution. Only little is known about kinetics of these specialized pro-resolving lipid mediators during acute allergic inflammation. Therefore, the primary propose of our study is to characterize the temporal evolution of cellular inflammation and specific lipid mediators after allergen challenge.
The Effect of Allergen Immunotherapy on Exhaled Nitric Oxide in Adult Patients With Asthma and Allergic...
Allergic AsthmaAllergic RhinitisThis study will evaluate whether exhaled nitric oxide levels are affected by allergen immunotherapy ("allergy shots"). The investigators' hypothesis is that successful allergen immunotherapy may be accompanied by decreased exhaled nitric oxide levels.

Perennial RhinitisSeasonal RhinitisTo assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of ciclesonide 200 mcg once daily, applied as a nasal spray for four weeks. The main outcome will be the improvement on global and individual typical and associated symptoms of intermittent or persistent rhinitis.
Application of Ectoin® Rhinitis Nasal Spray in Patients With Acute Rhinosinusitis
SinusitisThis is a comparative, open label, parallel group, non interventional study to further demonstrate the effectiveness and tolerability of Ectoin® Rhinitis Nasal Spray. In addition the effectiveness and safety shall be compared to a Sinupret forte. The patient applies Ectoin® Rhinitis Nasal Spray or takes Sinupret forte according to the instructions for use. The observation takes place over a period of 14 days. Response to treatment is recorded at day 7 and day 14 by the physician and in daily by the patient in a dairy.
Effectiveness of Beclomethasone Dipropionate Nasal Aerosol for Perennial Allergic Rhinitis
Perennial Allergic Rhinitis (PAR)This study will be a prospective observational study of "real world" BDP nasal aerosol users with PAR, with or without seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR). Subjects will respond to monthly online surveys regarding rhinitis control, concomitant medical conditions, concomitant (non-AR) medications, current AR therapy, and adverse events.
