Comparison of Local Anesthetic Infiltration and Different Fascial Plane Blocks in Inguinal Hernia...

Postoperative PainInguinal Hernia4 more

In this study, quadratus lumborum block (QLB), transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block, and local anesthetic infiltration will be performed preoperatively in patients who will undergo unilateral inguinal herniorrhaphy operation under general anesthesia. Quality of recovery (QoR-15) score, postoperative acute and chronic pain levels will be evaluated.

Advanced or Metastatic Solid Tumors

The goal of this interventional study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and preliminary efficacy of BAT8010 for injection in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors, explore the maximum tolerable dose. Participants will be given one of below dose once every three weeks: 0.8mg/kg, 1.2mg/kg, 2.4mg/kg, 3.6mg/kg, 4.8mg/kg, 6.0mg/kg, 7.2mg/kg, 8.4mg/kg. The dose escalation follow adopt accelerated titration and "3+3" dose increasing rule.

Testing Brief Personalized Feedback Integrating Lab-based Alcohol Cue Information

Alcohol Consumption

This study aims to develop a brief intervention that uses information from a lab-based cue reactivity protocol to create personalized feedback targeting high-risk alcohol use among young adults who drink alcohol. The intervention mainly focuses on providing feedback on individuals' drinking desire, mood, willingness to drink, and alcohol demand by comparing scores before and after viewing and smelling an alcoholic beverage in the lab session. Other psycho-educational alcohol-related content is also provided in the intervention including strategies for decreasing exposure to cues that increase drinking desires and how to cope with increased desire to drink. This brief intervention is used in a randomized controlled trial (RCT) comparing young adults who receive the brief, online intervention to those who did not receive the brief, online intervention. Participants in both groups complete baseline, lab-based cue reactivity protocol, 2-week follow-up and 3-month follow-up.

Zanubrutinib and Lisocabtagene Maraleucel for the Treatment of Richter's Syndrome

Recurrent Transformed Chronic Lymphocytic LeukemiaRefractory Transformed Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia6 more

This phase II trial tests how well zanubrutinib and lisocabtagene maraleucel (liso-cel) work together in treating patients with Richter's syndrome. Richter's syndrome occurs when chronic lymphocytic leukemia and/or small lymphocytic leukemia transforms into an aggressive lymphoma, which is a cancer of the lymph nodes. Zanubrutinib is a class of medication called a kinase inhibitor. These drugs work by preventing the action of abnormal proteins that tell cancer cells to multiply, which helps stop the spread of cancer. Liso-cel is a type of treatment known as chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. CAR T-cell therapy is a type of treatment in which a patient's T cells (a type of immune system cell) are changed in the laboratory so they will attack cancer cells. T cells are taken from a patient's blood. Then the gene for a special receptor that binds to a certain protein on the patient's cancer cells is added to the T cells in the laboratory. The special receptor is called a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR). Large numbers of the CAR T cells are grown in the laboratory and given to the patient by infusion for treatment of certain cancers. Giving zanubrutinib and liso-cell together may kill more cancer cells in patients with Richter's syndrome.

Small Sample,Unicentric,Randomized, Controlled Clinical Study of Coenzyme I for Injection in the...

Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss

Sudden sensorineural hearing loss is one of the most common emergencies in otorhinolaryngology, and its incidence is increasing year by year and tends to be younger. At present, the pathogenesis of sudden deafness is not clear and the individual treatment effects vary significantly. In order to break through this specific treatment bottleneck, this project pioneered the clinical application of the co-regulator nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) in the treatment of sudden deafness. Therefore, this project intends to use pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tinnitus disability scale THI, tinnitus subjective visual analog score method VAS, ear fullness subjective visual analog score method VAS for data analysis, and explore the safety of coenzyme I for injection on sudden deafness and efficacy assessment.
