Intraperitoneal Docetaxel With Cisplatin and TS-ONE for Gastric Cancer With Peritoneal Carcinomatosis...

Gastric CancerPeritoneal Carcinomatosis

Phase I study on the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and the recommended dose (RD) of intraperitoneal docetaxel combined with intravenous cisplatin and oral TS-ONE in gastric cancer patients with peritoneal carcinomatosis

Trial of Intraperitoneal (IP) Oxaliplatin in Combination With Intravenous FOLFIRI

Colorectal CancerAppendix Cancer1 more

This is a Phase I dose escalation study to determine how much chemotherapy can be safely administered into the abdomen while experiencing the fewest possible side effects.

Sirolimus and Vaccine Therapy in Treating Patients With Stage II-IV Ovarian Epithelial, Fallopian...

Recurrent Fallopian Tube CancerRecurrent Ovarian Epithelial Cancer22 more

This phase I trial studies the side effects and best dose and schedule of sirolimus when given together with vaccine therapy in treating patients with stage II-IV ovarian epithelial, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cavity cancer. Sirolimus may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Vaccines made from a gene-modified virus may help the body build an effective immune response to kill tumor cells. Giving vaccine therapy together with sirolimus may be an effective treatment for ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer

Catumaxomab for Treatment of Peritoneal Carcinomatosis in Patients With Gastric Adenocarcinomas...

Gastric Adenocarcinoma With Peritoneal CarcinomatosisSiewert Type II Adenocarcinoma of Esophagogastric Junction With Peritoneal Carcinomatosis1 more

The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of catumaxomab by determination of the rate of macroscopic complete remissions of peritoneal carcinomatosis after treatment with one cycle (four doses) of catumaxomab followed by six cycles of routine neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

Surgery and Oxaliplatin or Mitomycin C in Treating Patients With Tumors of the Appendix

Carcinoma of the AppendixPrimary Peritoneal Cavity Cancer

This randomized phase II trial is studying the side effects and how well giving oxaliplatin or mitomycin C directly into the abdomen after surgery works in treating patients with tumors of the appendix. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as oxaliplatin and mitomycin C, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Heating a chemotherapy solution and infusing it directly into the abdomen may kill more tumor cells. Giving these treatments after surgery may kill any tumor cells that remain after surgery.

Topotecan and Gefitinib (Iressa) for Ovarian, Peritoneal, or Fallopian Tube Cancer

Ovarian CancerPeritoneal Neoplasms1 more

The purposes of this study are: To determine the dose limiting toxicity (DLT) and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) weekly of topotecan in combination with standard dose gefitinib in patients with relapsed, platinum-resistant, ovarian, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancers that are epidermal growth factor receptor (EGF-R) positive (>/= 1+). To determine the response rate and response duration in this patient population treated with the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of topotecan administered on a weekly schedule in combination with standard dose gefitinib, given by way of the mouth (PO) daily.

Clinical Trial of Docetaxel in Combination With Gemcitabine in Platinum-Resistant Ovarian Cancer...

Ovarian CarcinomaPeritoneal Neoplasms

This study is for patients with advanced ovarian cancer that has reappeared after treatment with conventional therapy. The purpose of this study is to determine if the combination of docetaxel and gemcitabine will be effective in reducing or eliminating the tumor(s) in patients with ovarian cancer. Docetaxel is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of breast and lung cancer; gemcitabine is approved by the FDA for the treatment of pancreatic and lung cancer. Neither docetaxel nor gemcitabine are approved for the treatment of ovarian cancer. Both drugs have been shown to decrease the size of ovarian cancer tumors.

Carboplatin and Paclitaxel With or Without Bevacizumab in Treating Patients With Stage III or Stage...

Fallopian Tube Clear Cell AdenocarcinomaFallopian Tube Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma25 more

This randomized phase III trial studies carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab to see how well they work compared to carboplatin, paclitaxel, and placebo in treating patients with stage III or stage IV ovarian epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as carboplatin and paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells or by stopping them from dividing. Monoclonal antibodies, such as bevacizumab, may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. It is not yet known whether carboplatin, paclitaxel, and bevacizumab are more effective than carboplatin, paclitaxel, and placebo in treating ovarian epithelial, primary peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer.
